    Really loved staying here!
This park was one of the nicer ones we have stayed at. Feels more like a nice state park... Lots are spaced out nicely, with grass, gravel and some partially paved spots. Picnic table and fire ring provided. You can tell that the owners really care about providing a nice place as things are landscaped well, and kept mowed and super clean. The office is part of a General Store, which has some really nice “tourist” items, along with snacks, cold drinks, and more. Best thing is the awesome ice cream cones and sandwiches. Can’t say enough things about how nice the owners are.... we chose to stay there when we were deployed to Cookeville to help with disaster recovery after tornados ripped up the town. We were with Samaritans Purse and weren’t sure how long we would need to stay. They worked with us on letting us continue to stay there, especially after the Covid-19 virus made a big appearance. We stayed an extra 2 weeks because we felt safer being there than traveling home to New Mexico. The park is about 12 miles out of Cookeville and is located right across the street from the Cummins Falls State Park. The falls are within walking distance, and apparently a very popular place in the summer. We can’t recommend this RV park enough. We will definitely make it a point to come back there...hopefully, this summer.

    Friendly staff!
We stayed at Old Mill Camp while volunteering with Samaritan's Purse following the tornado disaster in middle Tennessee. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn't use the facilities, so we can't speak to that. We did take a hike to the waterfall at the state park prior to leaving and it did not disappoint!

Really Nice Folks - Really Clean Place!!!!!
It’s so nice to camp with a dog and not have some one screaming at you to have it on a leash 24/7. The camp spot was huge and he was able to be on OUR spot with no one crabbing at us. The walk to the overlook was fun from there . The shower rooms are spotless and the General store was a treat.

    Nine hours classic rock daily
Nine hours a day of music throughout the campground. This beautifully landscaped, gated campground with nice playground, volleyball, horseshoes, nature trail through dense wood surrounding it on 3 sides ruined it for us by playing classic rock radio station so loudly you can even hear it on the nature trails from 9 am to 6 pm daily. They say they purposely play it loud to attract people leaving Cummins State Park to their small but cute general store where they can buy water shoes, ice cream, sandwiches and souvenirs. They say if any camper played music they chose that loudly they would be told to turn it down or leave. They say 99% of their customers love it. We don’t enjoy any radio station 9 hours a day. We won’t be back. I don’t want to hear advertising so loud I can understand it inside my fifth wheel. Also no laundry available or fenced area where dogs could run a little. Too bad. Would have been a 4.5 campground if it weren’t that only way to get any quiet during the day was to leave. No laundry would have subtracted 1/2 point. Generous sites, especially the back ins as far away from entrance and music as possible

    Great Campground with Friendly Staff!
This is a great little family friendly campground! We stayed for 2 days during July and had a great shady spot. The playground was fun for our girls and our site was perfect for our 24 foot camper. I would highly recommend staying here if your traveling through Cookeville!

    Excellent Camping Experience
RV camped here the week before Memorial Day. Has spacious, drive thru and back in RV sites with full hookups and a dedicated tent camping area, too. Old Mill Campground offers the most clean facilities I have ever experienced. The sites are manicured and very well maintained, the bathrooms, showers and grounds were immaculate. This is a family owned/run facility and they are very much hands on in every aspect of the operation. The owners are the friendliest, most accommodating folks who truly want their customers to be happy in their camping experience. The Old Mill General store offers great handmade sandwiches and outstanding ice cream on site. Tonya, Rita and Tommie are true local Tennessee ladies with great big southern hearts that make you feel right at home. Will definitely go back.

    Firefly cottage
What a cute, clean cottage! Great location and safe. Clean bathhouse and clean campground. It was peaceful. Wish the cottage had a mirror in it, as the bathhouse was not air conditioned, so it was too hot to get ready in the bathhouse. Really enjoyed the campground and can't wait to go back!!

Convenient To Cummins Falls State Park
The store is directly across from the park, and the nearest place to get food and beverages. They sell snacks, sandwiches, ice cream, bottled water and soft drinks. They also carry camping supplies and cute antique items. The staff is very friendly too. Picnic tables and a very clean restroom are located in the back.

Wonderful General Store next to Cummins falls park
After visiting Cummings Falls Park we stopped in the general store. Great store and the nicest owners. Lemonade was very good and so were the cookies and the hospitality!! The cleaniest bathroom I have seen ever in a store or a campground. It was immaculate. Will definitely revisit next time I am there.

Beautiful setting inside like you are stepping back in time. It's right next to the entrance to Cummins Falls. A must stop after hiking the falls. They have yummy ice cream that hit the spot after a hot day. Their drinks were ice cold. The store has snacks and they do make sandwiches. They have camping and soon will have full hook up. Very nice staff, good down home people.

Very quiet & secluded, the sites are fairly large and the restrooms are key pad locked so no intrusions. While the campground is not large it has everything you need without having to run into town. The store is very good, while not have a huge selection of items it makes up for in quality. They have real ice cream and some of the best fresh made on the spot sandwichs ever. Very quaint and cute store.

If you're looking to spend some time at Cummins Falls State Park look no further for a place to camp. Old Mill Camp is located literally across the street from the entrance of the park. The distance from camp to the trail is less than a mile so you can skip the busy parking lot and walk (this way if your wet or muddy you can keep the car clean). The camp ground is small with a designated area for tents (wood chips instead of gravel). There are bathrooms and several individual stall showers, all clean and well maintained. Of note several of the stalls in the women's bathroom could not be locked due to miss aligned locks. The store offers ice, ice cream, beverages, souvenirs, sandwiches and water shoes. There's several rules but overall we found the staff friendly and accommodating.
