We used Off2SriLanka for a 3 week trip after recommendations from a friend. Menaka was efficient with all of our pre trip details and made some useful suggestions regarding our itinerary. Our driver Thusara was fantastic. Patient with our continual questions, great to chat with and most importantly a very safe driver on some extremely challenging roads. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company. We booked all our own hotels and guesthouse’s and knew what we wanted to see and do but Thusara made appropriate suggestions about other venues and advised and helped us with accessibility and really cared about us having the best time possible. He encouraged us to get up at 5am and we had a normally very crowded Worlds End To ourselves. He also recommended visiting Sigiriya and Dambulla in the afternoon after the crowds had gone and this turned out to be great advice. We were a family group ranging from 16 - 85.

We arranged our tour around 2 months before the arrival. No problems, very responsive Menaka who answered promptly (even in the middle of the night).
It was our first time on Sri Lanka, and the trip was well organized, with our driver (Ashoka) being both a good driver and a good guide. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the part connected with nature - safaris were really well organized, and experienced drivers/guides knew how to spot animals.
Maybe it was not the cheapest option, but it was worth it - being sure that everything works fine is priceless :)

Thanks for this valuable review. Unfortunately national parks and UNESCO world heritage sites are not cheap in Sri Lanka.They are beyond our control.Please come again to explore another part of the country. Lot more to see in Sri Lanka.Best regards,

Off 2 Sri Lanka Tours were great from start to finish! I initially contacted the company a couple of months before travelling and had a speedy response from Menaka (manager) who quoted for our trip. At this point our itinerary was still quite up in the air but he was very accommodating and flexible with this. A few days before our departure he confirmed everything and who our driver would be along with details etc, putting our minds at ease.
Arriving at Colombo airport we were met by Anura our driver who would be with us for the next 4 days. Right from the start of the long drive to Kandy, he gave us so much knowledge of local interesting facts that was lovely to hear. We had a tight schedule to stick to over a short amount time and Anura still managed to help us see so many sights and learn about the local culture. At no point did we feel pressured to visit anywhere and he was happy to go along with our plan, but also had suggestions for us along the way that we really appreciated and made a few extra stops to explore.
We had a couple of other drivers from the company who took us to our next destinations, who were also informative and pleasant. Overall a great experience and we will definitely use Off2SriLanka tours again when we plan our next visit :)

What can I say. From beginning to end, a trip of a lifetime.
Off2srilanka organised us our trip of a lifetime. We did an amazing 10 day itinerary including Ella, two safaris, Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya. Our driver Buddhika was so friendly, on time and such a great driver with a brilliant sense of humour. All correspondence by email via the agency was prompt and so efficient. All the hotels we stayed in were great with good levels of cleanliness and great breakfasts. We saw some amazing sights and every day got better and better. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to visit the stunning Sri Lanka.

A very professional and considerate tour operator. They successfully organised a personalised tour of southern sri lanka within the strict covid procedures. Our driver Milinda was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the country's history and wildlife. He ensures the covid safety protocols were adhered to throughout the trip. We highly recommend Off 2 Sri Lanka Tours for people to use as the restrictions now loosen in the country further.

My 82 year old mum, husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sri Lanka with Off 2 Sri Lanka Tours. I found this tour company on Trip Advisor, then worked with Menaka from Off2SriLankaTours via email to developed a tailored itinerary 12 day focusing on our interests which were food experiences, architecture, colonial history, spices and fabulous accommodation. At Mum’s request, we made one jewellery store stop (a place our wonderful guide Hemantha described as a place his grandmother would go to buy), visited the fertile highlands where we took the iconic train trip from Ella, had a private tour of a tea factory, awoke to amazing views with passing clouds. Then we hit the coast where we swam in the balmy turquoise Indian Ocean, gazed at stilt fisherman over breakfast, ate at a seafood restaurant where you select live mudcrab and other seafood, released baby turtles (bucket list tick) visited the home and country estate of the acclaimed architect Geoffrey Bawa, had our head blown off at a roadside traditional Sri Lankan eatery (Hemantha did warn us the chilli was extremely HOT. HOT). Walked in the footsteps of Dutch spice traders Galle Fort, then one of Colombo - highly recommend this tour company if you’re wanting a private tailored tour.
Hemantha, our fabulous guide and driver offered amusing and insightful support and guidance throughout our trip, we had a relaxed but suitably stimulating trip supported by Menaka and Hemantha.

Highly recommend Off2srilanka Tours. They were recommended by a friend who lives in Sri Lanka and has used them a number of times. They were exceptional. Menaka was our contact person and helped us plan various options over the course of a 10 day trip throughout the country. Menaka was very resourceful and able to get negotiated rates with hotels of all categories. Namal was our driver and was absolutely amazing. He speaks English fluently, very knowledgable of touristic places, is courteous and safe. We would definitely use them again.

We visited Sri Lanka between 22nd April 2023 to 27th April 2023 as a family of 4, including 2 kids aged 7 and 11. We chose Off to Sri Lanka as my brother had used them in 2017 and he recommended we use the same. I’m glad we did as both Menaka and Namal (our driver) helped us to create such fantastic memories. Menaka created an itinerary that suited our requirement and also made the best use of our time available in Sri Lanka. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable and our kids were able to have naps in between travelling from one place to another. Namal in particular was extremely helpful as he spoke good English and had excellent knowledge of each site we visited. Our itinerary was very hectic as we wanted to see as much as possible in the short time we had. He made sure we were able to tick off all the planned activities by being flexible enough to change the order of the activities. When we visited sigiriya rock, he helped our children to climb up as my wife was tired and struggling to climb the stairs. Thanks to Menaka and Namal for helping us create such beautiful memories of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is beautiful and I would highly recommend to chose off to Sri Lanka and your tour provider.

My wife and I spent 8 wonderful days with Hemantha and would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking to explore and discover this beautiful country!
Started from Colombo, then went to Sigiriya, Kandhy, Ella, Yala, Mirisa, Unuwatuna, and Galle.
Hemantha was a great guide: kind, flexible, arranging and generally happy to share his rich knowledge of the history, geography, vegetation, anecdotes etc of Sri Lanka. He also drives very safely and comfortably.
We will always remember this great journey and have already referred Menaka and Hemantha to our friends!

I used Off2srilanka company’s services in December 2023. As I travelled solo, I was concerned about my safety at the beginning; however, it proved right the opposite.
From the first day when I was met at the airport, everything was taken care of - transportation (modern, clean car), hotels and my customized itinerary with on-spot modifications upon my request.
