Just spent 3 hours here sat outside next to the alpacas ... this place is a little gem sat in the garden of lovely country views and peaceful surroundings.
Afternoon tea was lovely all homemade especially the scones ....
and the child’s afternoon tea with there own mini 3 tier teaset was so cute he loved it .
Next time we will do the meet and greet and see the other animals and maybe go trekking with the alpacas .
We got to feed them carrots which was lovely and they all have there own personalities.
Thankyou to Samantha and her mum for making the experience special as it was a special occasion .
Can’t wait to revisit

We had a lovely alpaca meet and great today followed by a cuppa and cake in the tea room. We really enjoyed it and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The team room was really clean and set out lovely. All covid guidelines were adhered too. The alpaca meet and greet was fab, we got to feed them and learn so much about them, and we also fed the chickens and met the goats and sheep, it really exceeded my expectations. This really is a local hidden gem and We will return again for sure.

Fab afternoon tea, with a side order of Alpacas

We had a lovely few hours at the Alpaca tearoom, it was a quiet day & there was only us 4 there. We took our 10 month old Granddaughter & she was so lucky that Sam made an unexpectedly lovely baby afternoon tea, that she loved.
The food we got was plentiful, freshly made & lovely. Sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, scones, Xmas cake, a bun each & an Alpaca gingerbread biscuit. There was too much so we took the rest home for later.
The lady who owns it was lovely & made us feel very welcome & the fire was a welcome treat.
What a lovely place to while away a few hours, the Alpacas were busy eating & our Granddaughter was more interested in one of the cats.
Well worth it for the afternoon tea, with a bonus of the cute Alpacas.
Thank you, we shall be back.pl

High Tea with the Alpacas
Oct 2020 • Family
We booked high tea at Elmet Alpaca Trekking and Crafts as something just a bit different from the norm as a birthday treat. In this current health crisis (October 2020) it was pre-book only and there were just 2 slots left for the entire weekend, such is the popularity if this relatively new venture. The tearoom is, I believe, situated in what was the original dairy on this still active farm, it is quaint and nicely decorated with a pleasant atmosphere. Tea itself was a real treat with a variety of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, scones and lots of tea (or coffee). Afterwards we went outside to see the alpacas which were truly fascinating (and adorable), the gentleman guiding us was very knowledgeable which made the experience all the more interesting and enjoyable. Elmet Alpaca Trekking and Crafts, as you might guess from their name, also run craft classes and aplaca trekking across the fields.
