Not climbing to the Castle in Castro Laboreiro is like going to Rome and not being the Pope B-) Some of the "guiding" posts have being vandalised , but the path is obvious... The view from up there is 360º superb!!!

Fabulous area off the beaten track, found in the Peneda Gerese National Park in Northern Portugal, stunning views and lovely little town

A nice climb to the Castle ruins with spetacular views. Very interesting for Children but you must avoid to climb with too much sun because there are no trees and in the summer is very hot.

Honestly doesn t worth the visit except for the views.Altough the region has lots of water course that certainly you enjoy discover.Food is very nice too.
