We've been going to the River Park for the last few years and they keep improving it. My husband goes there to train for the Ironman Ravens and I have been training for a Half Marathon race. It's the perfect place for anyone wanting to train or just for leisure. A lot of the park is right next to the... More

Riverpark was very nice, they had a movie at Coolidge park which was a surprise that it was an updated movie. My husband and I had a great time just walking the bridge and river front. They also had a bad playing that Saturday evening .

I was surprised that the area didn't have a tremendous amount of shopping and eating establishments. The river walk is a great area to jog, ride bikes, and walk. Chattanooga also host music festivals along the walk. The week we visited we enjoyed the music while strolling along the river.

This park is a great place to walk around if you're visiting the aquarium. It has a number water features and fountains for kids to splash around and cool off in. It's located sort of all around the aquarium. The different parts of the water features start out in front of or beside the aquarium and flow down towards the... More

I fell in love with the Tennessee Riverpark area. The passage was something to see. It was a really busy area but not uncomfortable.

Wife and I in Chattanooga for the day. We went to IMAX and then walked across to the aquarium. We started falling this water path with amusement. We circled around the aquarium with joy. Then before walking to the car across the Market Street bridge WE FOUND IT. The water steps are down to the left of the bridge. We... More

There is so much hustle and bustle on the Riverwalk. Though not touristy per se, we had a nice time walking on the Riverwalk near the Aquarium. You can see all the boats, including the Dixie Riverboat and the DuckTours from the shore. Many people were walking and a few were riding bikes. Near the Aquarium there were fountains, small... Walk, run, bike (didn't bring yours on the trip...not to worry, you can rent one nearby), sun bathe, play at the water park by the Aquarium or just enjoy the views of the river. In the summer time enjoy free concert series.

I'm working a job in town and staying in a Hixon hotel. I try to jog 6 miles wherever I travel. I seek off-road trails and pathways to do it. This was off highway 153, at a TVA dam at one end, but actually follows the river to downtown Chattanooga, I'm told. Ten miles of paved, maintained, wide, clean bikeway,... More
