We had to disembark the free shuttle here and ended up finding out a lot of useful information from the very knowledgeable and very nice guides. Walked to lunch and the aquarium from here and then caught the free shuttle back to our hotel. This isn't an air-conditioned place but an open ended tunnel for the shuttles. There are rest... More

We were looking for the visitor center in Chattanooga, and then realized that it was this tiny stand under a building. They still had brochures and even the shuttle outside, but it wasn't the same. They got replaced by a rock climbing place with no AC.

We were so surprised and disappointed when we stumbled on this, because instead of being huge and inside a building, it was a little booth outside by the free shuttle stop. Still had brochures, and a person to talk to, just was a big letdown.

This place needs more signs. I put the address into my gps and drove in circles trying to find this place not realizing until later that it was underneath a building. This is a very small visitor center if you can call it that. It is really a desk with a few smalls racks of brochures. I was hoping to... More

The people here are friendly and very helpful. Just a shuttle/bus 'station' and visitor info. It would be nice to have a souvenir shop somewhere in the general vicinity of this center, or in the center itself. We drove all over town trying to find a few souvenirs that weren't unique to the aquarium or other local attractions.

This is where the buses drive through. Its a strange visitor center but it also has some of the bike racks you can rent located in this drive through.

I was visiting Chattanooga for a car show and traveled on the free downtown shuttle several times. The visitor center is right there in the shuttle station. The employees both at the center and on the buses were always helpful, kind and very friendly.

We arrived just as the visitor's center had closed, but visited first thing the next morning. The people who work there are friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They told us how to get to several things, gave us maps and coupons, and answered all of our questions. After riding the bus around town, we returned there and had a different... More

The gentleman at the center are very helpful. Get on the free shuttles and ride around. Lots of brochures with maps and coupons.
