Every senior has heard of the Chattanooga Choo Choo from the song. On our guided tour through the cavernous station building, we learned that there really was one - sort of. Our tour guide was most enthusiastic, entertaining, and informative. It was worth an hour of our time.

Hubby and I were pleasantly surprised that there is a real Choo Choo! Close your eyes and you can almost hear Glenn Miller's band playing.

This a quaint little place to stay at. They have railway cars you can stay in, shopping, restaurants. But the highlight to me is the hotel lobby... LOOK UP... what a great view of the dome. This was the central station for the railways coming and going. A lot of history in this building.

We went to visit Chattanooga Choo Choo on a Monday afternoon. Our children (ages4, 9, 11) enjoyed playing the yard games of Jenga and checkers, chess as well as climbing on the engine and caboose. The train car that serves pizza doesn't open on weekdays until 4pm. The Terminal restaurant next door served good food, though. Complimentary valet parking at... More

I bring any friends and family that visit me to the Choo Choo. It is an iconic part of Chattanooga that any tourist should see. It has an old world feeling to it. Oddly, I bring people to see the restrooms as well haha. The women's restroom has a beautiful stained glass window.

We caught the electric shuttle from the Aquarium one Sunday morning to the Choo Choo. Took some photos but there is nothing much else to see in the area. Worth a quick trip.

Beautiful vintage hotel with train cars you can stay the night in. Many restaurants and trains to see. Jumbo chess game and strolls which can be very romantic. It's a great date night outing too.

Not really a fair review because it was being renovated and the restaurants were not open. That said, still not much to do. The lobby is beautiful so park up front, walk in, take a look, get back in your car, drive around the back to see the trains, move on. I guess it would be a fun place to... More

Originally a train station, now a hotel. You can visit the wagons park in the back. They are still in use as a restaurant, meeting hall. Beautiful architecture

Internet service was poor throughout entire stay. Building 1 has new carpet and paint. Rooms now have refrigerators which saved a step from our previous stay. Lighting to read in bed remains poor. I had to take the floor lamp and place between beds to be able to read a book. Tubs have been resurfaced but ours was peeling already.... More
