We were so impressed with how beautiful Rock City and Lookout Mountain are. The trail leading to Lookout Mountain felt like an enchanted, secret forest. We were able to take our son (who was not even 2 at the time) with us without any difficulty - just had to hang onto him tight in a few places! We loved it... More

This place is a must see when visiting Chattanooga. Never been to anything like this. Awesome views, scenery, atmosphere. Very relaxing afternoon with places to stop and get something to eat as well.

I remember being totally delighted and awestruck by Lookout Mountain as a child six decades ago. Now, approaching my 70th birthday, I found the same delight and awe. The winding pathways and dramatic view were perhaps even more inspiring. Fairyland Cavern, delightfully kitschy and exactly as I left it at age 8, retains all it's charm even for the now... More

Went for the view - did not disappoint! Though the Incline Railway was closed for maintenance, still enjoyed the view from 2300 ft. Various plaques at Point Park commemorate significant Civil War events in 1863.

I wasn't really impressed with Lookout Mountain. It's just a flat mountain top where you can see a great distance...on a clear day.

The view was spectacular. My daughters loved the waterfall and seeing the trolls and the deer. All the rock formations and caves were fun to go through.

Traveling to the top of Look Out Mountain on the Incline Mountain Railway , is an experience not to be missed. The view from the top is awesome , and you can learn so much about The American Cival war. The staff are friendly, and you even get your photo taken for a fair price. A must do .

There is so much to see on Lookout Mountain. It is much larger up there than we expected with several housing communities, Rock City, Ruby Falls, and a civil war national park. It is not difficult to drive up and worth it for the views! If you are in the area take a few hours and head up the mountain.... More

Absolutely gorgeous views!! We took the incline down and back up. There are so many viewing spots. The most incredible is the Hanggliding take off point. Go at sunset, you won't regret it.
