Creative Discovery Museum is a hands-on children's museum in the heart of downtown Chattanooga that inspires all children to explore, innovate, create, and play. Our exhibits are designed to both entertain and educate as children discover the world around them and all it has to offer including art, music, dinosaur digging, water exploration, and science. Rated the #7 children's museum in the U.S. by Trekaroo in 2015.

This place is dirty. It is absolutely filthy. The attractions are worn and old. It is not worth the money.

all 5 of our children (age 5-12) loved this museum. Spent a whole day here and they said they would like to come back on a future visit. Great hands on for kids. Love a place where it's ok for them to really get in there and explore and touch stuff and figure out how things work.

My son and I visited late in the day after having been at the aquarium the better part of the day. We were able to walk from the aquarium. Took about 10 min. We ate ice cream a long the way. I took my son because of the Thomas STEM exhibit. He really enjoyed the almost life size trains and... More

Great for kids and adults alike. Interactive. One of Chattanooga's great features for fun and education.

Our 2 and 4 year old girls were running around all over the place. There were so many different areas for them to enjoy. Unfortunately, the weather prevented us from enjoying the rooftop activities. Nevertheless, there were many other activities to keep our little ones occupied. We will definitely visit again when we have more time.

Over the years we have been to many Interactive children's museums. We have found that the one in our own city is the best. We have found that it is best for ages 10 and under. I know they work hard to present a large array of interactive exhibits for all ages and abilities. Special needs children are welcome.

Great place many activities and variety. A place you could take the kids and tire them out. Reasonable price just wish they would lower the price for adults not much for them to do except have fun with the kids.

Place was awesome for the kids but many of the stations were broken and that was annoying. You could spend 5 minutes trying to get the battery and light and switch in the right order for a electric circuit - only to find out the lights or battery don't work.... Although I should note the price was very reasonable

We loved this place. Lots.of different activities for kids! Educational as well. Probably better for ages 4 or 5 thru 10 at most. Bigger kids would be bored.. very few activities for them. :/ Mine is 7. He fully enjoyed it all. Definitely would recommend.

Spent nearly five hours at this children's museum. Better than any Ive seen. Such a variety of stations, from art to music, to crafts, etc. Our grandchildren were 4 and 7 and both enjoyed equally. Biggest disappointment was the small cafe inside the museum. Prices were reasonable but service was horrible. THree people working in a small kitchen and noone... More
