It was so much fun! We went to the pool, shooting, golf coarse close by, swimming in the river, walking on the nature trails, everything fun like that and the rangers are good at keeping you in the know!

We stayed here over the weekend as a church campout and had a great time! The tent campsites are right beside the River, and it was clean, well maintained and overall great. The camp store was open all weekend and we visited it often for ice cream and to buy more firewood. The only thing that kept this from being... More

Nothing went right in the first 3 hours after arriving, I won't go into details about Cabin # 1 but I will say, the issues were on both parties, ours an theirs at the end of it. However, Melissa, working the front desk tonight 11-16-2015 solved the problem!!! She was able to offer a suggestion / solution to the problem.... More

They have an excellent buffet that we frequent after church on Sundays occasionally. They have a good variety and the food is really good at a reasonable price.

Along the Duck River, the campsites are well-spaced. Even though RV-ers can have water and electrical hookups, they don't seem to negatively impact the tent campers. Henry Horton Golf Course is nearby, but the traffic it produces does not have a negative impact on the campers.

We came to the park for a family reunion and stayed in Cabin #1. Although the cabin looked okay when I stepped in the door, the longer we stayed there, the more faults I found. Many of the electrical things simply didn't work. The cabin was the dirtiest one I've ever been in--someone mentioned that at least I wasn't in... More

One of the shadiest places we've ever camped in. Lots of activities, families, and campfires here. A very nice place.

We visited Henry Horton State Park's campground for the first time. The campground is heavily wooded and the sites are spacious. There is a tent camping area & an RV area with water & electric (no sewer). The camp store is closed Monday through Thursday, so we were not able to buy anything there. The bath house is very nice,... More

Lots to do and easy to get to everything. Inn, pool, restaurant, golf course, walking trails, tennis courts, volleyball court, Duck River, disc golf, playgrounds, etc. are all close together and easy to get to everything by walking. Lots to do, clean, friendly.

Camping was great, it has been recently updated and camping pads are large. We stayed on site 45. It was level with lots of shade trees. We will be going back soon.
