They have a great buffet for lunch and dinner. Some nights they have a seafood buffet. On Thanksgiving Day they have turkey and dressing, ham as well as all the trimmings!

We received an email with deals on lodging at a couple of different Tennessee Sate Park Lodges. We chose Henry Horton and had a nice stay. We stayed in the Lodge for three nights and found it to be a bit run down compared to other state lodges we have visited (many!). There is nothing attractive about this lodge...nothing. In... More

Thank you for your recent stay and review of the Inn and Restaurant at Henry Horton State Park. I am always happy to receive feedback from our guests to help us improve our services. Currently we are working within the park’s state appropriated budget to upgrade as much of the 50 year old Inn and Restaurant as possible. Plans are... More

Nice and quiet, well maintained. Stop to camp for one night just to sleep, RV hookups were good, no TV stations on antenna

We skipped Cedars of Lebanon because we knew the pool was already closed there. Turns out, it was closed at HH as well... They just never bothered to update the website that said it closed on August 6th. The trails were well marked but there were many downed trees that required some contortions to get over/around.

Michael, We're very sorry about your experience with the pool. The pools at state parks close in early August because many of our lifeguards and summer staff are high school students. Once school starts back, we are unable to staff the required number of guards to operate the pools safely. We apologize that this information was not updated on our... More

We stayed two nights here on our way to Gatlinburg with a travel trailer. The park was nice but the camp host was intrusive and unhelpful. The one full day we had at the park, my husband and I had stepped into the trailer to start dinner and the kids came to the door. "Mom dad! Someone wants to talk... More

After living in the area many years and play several rounds of golf a the Henry Horton course, we decided to utilize the hiking trails int the park. We did the outer loop which ended up being about 4.5 miles. The trails are well defined and marked. They are at times a rugged, rocky trail but not much elevation. Some... More

We stayed here while on RV vacation. We had excursions to Nashville and Lynchburg. The park is beautiful and had deer roaming. The hook up is water and 50 amp, but no sewer or would have given 5 stars-definitely troublesome when staying longer than a night or two. Quiet park. Although check-in was a bit confusing, we would stay again... More

This is a nice campground, shaded and paved. The bathouse is also good. Some camp spots are better than others. We like 47 and 14. We like to be facing the woods when we camp rather than the camp road. The camp host is always pleasant. They have a campstore, playground, and hiking trails you can access by foot from... More

We stopped for two nights at the campgrounds on our way home from Florida. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They have very definitive sections for primitive camping, tents, and RVs. Our site had electrical and water. There were no sites with sewer to my knowledge. The sites were paved and very spacious. The bathrooms were older but decent.... More

There are enough things to do here to keep a family busy all day long! Huge pool with two diving board, frisbee golf, hiking trails, trap/skeet shooting, tubing down the Duck River!
