We stayed here while on RV vacation. We had excursions to Nashville and Lynchburg. The park is beautiful and had deer roaming. The hook up is water and 50 amp, but no sewer or would have given 5 stars-definitely troublesome when staying longer than a night or two. Quiet park. Although check-in was a bit confusing, we would stay again... More

This is a nice campground, shaded and paved. The bathouse is also good. Some camp spots are better than others. We like 47 and 14. We like to be facing the woods when we camp rather than the camp road. The camp host is always pleasant. They have a campstore, playground, and hiking trails you can access by foot from... More

We stopped for two nights at the campgrounds on our way home from Florida. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They have very definitive sections for primitive camping, tents, and RVs. Our site had electrical and water. There were no sites with sewer to my knowledge. The sites were paved and very spacious. The bathrooms were older but decent.... More

There are enough things to do here to keep a family busy all day long! Huge pool with two diving board, frisbee golf, hiking trails, trap/skeet shooting, tubing down the Duck River!

This is a convenient locations south of Nashville. The park has a hotel, restaurant and cabins. Additionally, there is a campsite for use. The river runs through the park so fishing is convenient. There is also kayaking/canoeing available nearby. They have several large pavillions with restrooms for use, great for events or reunions. There is also a pool in the... More

The greens are disappointing. Greens look like they are scalped too close. Not too many playing for a Sunday, but pace of play about 5 hours for 18. The Park needs renovations considering the number of locals that use the facilities. Pool is old and crowded. Inn needs replacement. Love the park but hate the States financial neglect!

Excellent location and amenities. The primitive sites were located away from everything. Facilities were near by. The trail was well maintained and the scenery was spectacular.

So proud to say I grew up going to Henry Horton State Park. All our school trips were to here as a child. I still enjoy my visits to this beautiful park.

We recently camped 4 nights at Henry Horton, our first visit there. It is a beautiful setting. The campsites are huge, and are tucked in among the trees so that you truly are camping in the woods. We had our dogs with us so didn't get on any of the trails. The bathhouses are nice, pretty well updated. The wilderness... More

We visited this park for a wedding. Beware of you are planning a wedding.....this might not be a good choice. Their seemed to be some missed communication on the part of the staff. But, other than that, there are nice kids play areas, open trails, cabins to stay in. The cabins themselves are quite outdated, but about what you would... More
