Grinder Switch Winery has an amazing atmosphere! I've been going there for years and have been a member of their wine club for several years. They have a great selection of both sweet and dry wines available. They will allow you to try them all if you're undecided! The owners and staff are absolutely top-notch. They are always very welcoming and friendly. You will need to follow them on social media to keep up with all the wonderful events and food truck days they have there as well.

If you haven’t been here, put it on your list of things to do. You won’t be disappointed.

My favorite wines are the Honeysuckle Rose and Switch Red.

Its off the beaten path but well worth it. The staff was very helpful and really nice to talk to. The wins they have can fit any pallet...white, red, dry, etc. My wife lived the Blondey and we both agreed on the Honeysuckle Rose. The prices are very affordable.

This was such a joy to find. We enjoyed the trip into Centerville and most definitely enjoyed the visit with the wine maker/owner. He was very fun to visit with and the wine was great. Some winemakers just have the "nack" of making great wine and he is definitely one of them.

Great place, great wine.

I am sure you have often wondered if the place that Minnie Pearl talked so much about existed. It did and still does! A few short miles down the Minnie Pearl Expressway off I 40 you will see signs to the left that lead you to the quaint Grinder's switch Winery. There in the cool of several old trees and beautiful flowers, you will find a small company store with tasting room. The ambience of the room is very nice and refreshing. The Winery has a few offerings from dry wines to the sweet and everything in between for you taste. The owner gives a brief history and the tasting begins. The store is not cluttered with tourist offerings, it sells a few items other than wines. We will return!

We were driving from Nashville to Memphis and decided to visit this lovely vineyard on our way. What a lovely surprise awaited us.This is a family run winery with its charming cabin situated in the middle of beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We sampled their selection of wines whilst our wonderful hosts described each wine
with great enthusiasm. The shop not only has its wine but also a nice selection of things to buy. Outside there are sitting areas to either just to relax .We had a picnic with the leftover food we had brought with us from Nashville. We were then invited to look at their vineyard and meet one of their two dogs Honey a beautiful golden labrador. This is such a great stop on our journey and loved it so much we wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely visit Grinders again if we are in the area.

Love this winery! I take everyone who comes to Tennessee for a visit. The tasting takes place in a log cabin, which was built by the owners of the winery. I am a huge fan of the Switch Red wine, so make sure you give it a try when you stop in.

Out of the way, 12 miles from I-40, but well worth the trip. We prefer the sweet wines but occasionally like dry wine and they have both & several we like.

I have driven past the signs on I-40 for this winery for years. We finally took the time to stop, and was it well worth it. The setting is quiet and beautiful, and the tastings were wonderful. Worth the drive and time!
