Highly recommend talking a tour with Taylor from USA Raft. She was great and made sure we safely got into all the hidden spaces. Our 8 yr old daughter loved it. This was the highlight of our vacation!

Awesome family trip with caving and rafting. The River and Earth Adventures guides were amazing and the lunch was great! If you want a safe, fun and educational trip, ask for Gunnar and Beckham! You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome cave for a day trip. Plan on taking 4 hours or so and you'll need the best sticky shoes or boots you have, because the cave is slippy as wet clay can be. I highly recommend using a tour guide (Appalachian Underground does an...More

We had Aaron of USA Raft as our caving guide and he was terrific. Very knowledgeable with his degree in geology. Wading through the stream, crawling on our bellies, it was all part of a great experience. If you want something that is not your...More

This is my second trip to Worleys Cave via USA raft. Our guide both times was Dani. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun! She allowed us plenty of time to “play” in the cave and she tailors each individuals experience based on their needs. Awesome...More

You don’t. You can reach out to the local Grotto or ask. The owner just collects the fee and maintains camping area.

Reach out to your local grotto. There is no special permits beyond paying $8 a person and respecting the land.

Yes, but you have to arrange your trip with the landowner and pay him for each person in your group.
