Karen “aka KareBear” is so accommodating & does anything required to make sure her customers have a great experience. Great value all the way around. Excellent lunch! Wow she was so knowledgeable about the area! We saw a yellow headed eagle, prairie dogs, 1,000 plus Buson, two types of deer, mountain sheep & much more

Great tour company! Kare Bear (
Karen) worked with us on our reservation. My husband is a veteran and we received the military discount and for a small fee they took care of our Yorkie while we toured Mt Rushmore and they went to the park for a walk. Wes was our tour guide and was totally awesome and very knowledgeable of the area as well as entertaining. The fact that the company has a limited number of people for their tour makes it so much nicer and more personable. Highly recommend this your company and their great pricing is another plus!

Best tour we've had. The tour guide, Kare Bear, (Karen) was a veteran guide with a lot of experience in the area. Tour bus was a nice air conditioned tour van with large windows and a large capacity without crowding. Kare Bear kept a good schedule that allowed time to stop and view the sights. She gave us advice as to how to see everything and which things to do in sequence to get the most out of the sight. She also provided a continual commentary about the places we were seeing, as well as suggestions for other things to do in the area, including restaurants, etc. Water was provided for the entire trip. At one point snacks were offered as well. Both the water and snacks were included. Numerous times Kare Bear asked if we needed rest rooms, so everone was comfortable. We take a lot of tours at various places in the country, since we've been full time RV'ers for 8 years. This one was the best!

‘Hot Tour’, There’s always one in the crowd and Ray B you’re the one. The reason the tour bus was a bit late is because one couple was not at their designated pick up spot and we had to go find them. The air-conditioning worked fine for more than half of the tour. Mechanical failures are beyond anyone’s control and are always on unexpected. Our tour guide Karen was well versed on the history of the Black Hills, and surrounding areas. I had phenomenal time and could not have been more satisfied. I look forward to my next trip to South Dakota and another tour with Karen and Black Hills Above and Beyond Tours.

We were apprehensive about booking a tour, but it was highly recommended so we reluctantly booked. We could have never covered the miles that KareBear drove (and certainly not with the Class C in which we're traveling). Everything was first class and KareBear was a thorough wealth of information about everything - wildlife, plants, natural history, travel, etc.; sort of like a history teacher, but fun! She had many amusing antidotes, along with some corny, but fun, jokes. We were treated to bison, pronghorn, big horn sheep and deer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone and am so glad we gave in to our apprehensions.

I cannot say enough about the experience we had on this tour! There were 11 people on my tour, 9 of them being my family and 6 of those children ages 5-14. All of my family walked away with a million memories, from seeing Mount Rushmore to petting wild donkeys. Waz was full of knowledge, patient with all of the kids and attentive to everyone on the tour. My family is so grateful that we got to experience everything together and all in one day, there is no way we could have done it all on our own! Thank you Waz for for helping make our vacation memorable!!

We had a great experience and tour. RJ was our tour guide. He provided great insight and details throughout the experience. Every stop was awesome---seeing bison, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer Park, etc.. We really enjoyed being able to learn more about Needles Highway and getting out to see inside the tunnel. Highly recommend the business!!

My wife and I did the The Mount Rushmore and So Much More Tour
Don shared SO much information it took ALL day to see all the places they go. Way too many to list here
Stopped for a great buffet lunch (you buy) but he had plenty of free snacks and drinks. Free pick -up and drop-off at your hotel or campground.
The bang for the buck is unbelievable!

Tour bus pick up was late. The A/C never worked for the entire trip. After lunch, all I could think of was when would this sauna bus trip be over! The staff (2) was very apologetic. Said they would relay our displeasure to the owners. We haven't heard a word. Half of this tour was a waste. If you want to see everything at the sites visited, there won't be enough time on this tour.
