A little off the beaten path, but don't worry, it's worth it. Beautiful and interesting. We got a very personal tour of the process and the story behind many pieces from the artist's wife.

Be brave and trust your instincts that sometimes the more hidden locations are worth the trip. The art is magnificent and like nothing that I've ever seen before. We actually spent longer there than intended because it's so interesting and beautiful. Mrs. Termes is an excellent host with loads of information and obviously loves to share her knowledge.

You can not miss this if you go to Spearfish. It was very closed to my campground so I went several times. The art is very unique and incredible. If I could afford it I would buy some.

We visited the Termesphere Gallery on a rainy Sunday in September. We were the only two people in the gallery at the time, and were greeted by Markie, the artist's wife. Markie gave us a "private tour" of the artist's work, explaining a lot of the details on how he thinks when painting, his different ideas, inspirations, techniques, etc. We... More

Our youngest teenage son really wanted to visit while we were on vacation. I really didn't think it was of any real interest. Boy what I wrong! Mr. Termes is one fascinating and extremely talented artist. The spheres are different sizes and each one is unique because they are individually hand painted. The studio is small, but his art is... This week a group I was traveling with had the great pleasure of visiting the Termisphere Gallery. Dick Termis is the only one in the world who is able to create this amazing form of art. It should not be missed when visiting the Black Hills. Mr. Termis gave a talk to our group explaining how he is able to... More

We stopped here as we were in Spearfish and saw it listed on trip advisor. When we heard the story of the artist and began to try to wrap our mind around visually painting a sphere from the outside looking out, as well as the outside looking in, we were so intrigued by the uniqueness of this artist! It is... More

It is a small store off of a road. It is some pretty cool art but nothing else. Maybe if you like art a lot you will enjoy it more than I did.

Dick Termes is a creative genius....and who wouldn't want to meet someone for whom a piece of art if named? His gallery also combines the beauty of the Black Hills away from the normal flow of traffic.

If you're in the Spearfish area, definitely stop by to see this unique gallery. Lynn was very helpful in explaining the artist work and technique.
