From MN we stop in when we are in the area

This is a very friendly place, local people are always willing to talk with you. Good selection of beer, filled up 2 growlers to take back to MN.

Great looking place. The weather was perfect so we decided to enjoy our beers outside. There is also a balcony with nice views. No food. 10 beers on tap + 1 guest beer (Odell this time). Flights of 4 served. Wifi worked.

We stopped in for a beer and really enjoyed the experience. We tried a flight of 4 beers to get a better sample of the beer. The bartender was not too excited about doing a flight, but was helpful and very knowledgeable about the beers. the fireplace was very nice and felt great. would go back again. flight of 4... More

We camped at the KOA just down the street from here last month (August 2016) and were glad to see a brewery so close by. We ended up visiting twice, each time enjoying a number of their selections, all very tasty. A very good BBQ joint shares their prking lot and equally good Mexican restaurant is next door. Eat, drink... More

Huge building with easy access to the freeway. The Porter & IPA are approved by us beer drinkers who like to stop at every town we visit to try a local brew. Order a beer at the bar and they have good seating indoors or out. Looked like a Pre-wedding party on the upstairs patio happening during our visit. I'd... More

I loved the environment here. I like that there is local artwork for sale on the walls. I thought it was strange there was no table service. Its a cozy brewery to kill time at.

This was our 2nd visit to CP (last 2-3 years ago) and we think its worth making a visit if near Spearfish (even worth getting off I-90). The service and vibe was much better this time. Most importantly the beer is very good. Enjoyed sitting outside.. They dont have food per se but we knew that going in. I bought... More

Crow Peak is a fun micro brew in Spearfish. The 11th Hour IPA is our favorite. We had it at the Legends Steakhouse and liked it enough to go over to the microbrewery. If you like barbecue Bunkys barbecue is in the same parking lot. Wish we would have known. The barbecue that people Brought in looked great but we... More

This place can get very busy but is worth it. They've got a nice tasty beer selection. They will fill other brewery's growlers!

Overrated, since we heard from so many to make sure we made it to this brewery, so we did. Cool place to hang out, but very clickish, with lots of locals. I asked to taste another beer, but had to wait until I put in the same request about 5 minutes later, after his conversation with locals. Recieved a look... More
