The Outdoor Campus has nice hiking trails and a nice pond. It is free. The nature exhibits inside are informative and relevant. There is a large playground just across from the main building. The volunteers and staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

I stopped in and asked if their was anything here for adults to see or do and the man told me no. He said I could look at the couple of indoor fish tanks they have and then walk on a trail outside. They had a neat indoor fish tunnel for kids to walk through. Most of outside trails were... More

There is lots of advertising for the Outdoor Campus. We were hoping this was a place to get hands on experiences (specifically Kayaking), but it turns out, it really is a place for park and rec like classes for people who live in SF. Exhibits geared for younger kids - but are quality. There was a elementary age summer camp... More

I love coming to the Outdoor Campus. I live in Sioux Falls and frequent this place often. Sometimes I walk my dogs, other times I take leisurely walks/runs. I almost always pass bird watchers, families, nature lovers, etc. I have also participated in the Try It day events. I recommend the Outdoor Campus to everyone! :-)

Another wonderful attraction for Sioux Falls. My grandson and I love to follow the trail around the lake and also go inside and see some of natures little creatures...a good learning experience for children of all ages.

Great walking trails in Sioux Falls that are well graveled and easily traveled by the young, old, and those with strollers. You can walk in the trees and seem like you're not in town. Bikes are not allowed so you don't have to worry about them zooming by you. There's plenty of wildlife viewing - I've seen deer, turtles, ducks,... More

I use the campus for walking their trails and photography. I have brought nieces and nephews to play with their interactive displays. Sertoma Park and the Butterfly House are all in the park area so it's a great place to take the family. No entrance fee for the Outdoor Campus. Check their website for classes, special events

The kids had a blast playing on the giant "spider web" and all the cool science things. We still talk about whispering into the "satellite dish" and the other could hear on the other end.
