This place is awful. The outside is the best part, as it looks pleasant and modern. The inside is a joke. 10 bucks and you get to look at a few replicas of dinosaurs. Ok fine that's expensive but whatever I'll try just about anything...More

Definitely not worth the cost. Dinosaur displays were alright but no real order then all of a sudden there is a mirror maze. Kinda cool but short not really a maze. Lastly you come across the mini golf and when you see that all you...More

Our kids really enjoyed this quaint little museum. The life-sized dinosaurs are pretty amazing. We went through the mirror maze about 20 times and they were asking to keep going! We played mini golf and watched a bit of the movie. Overall, it was worth...More

Anyone been to the new Museums yet? (4 Replies)
I was wondering if anyone had any reviews or notes about the new Dinosaur Museum /Haunted House and Monster Asylum Complex?? I heard these places just opened and I wondered if they were worth the price of admission? Thanks for any info you can pass on! Our trip is scheduled for 2 weeks from now! Can't wait! Too bad the new Castle Rock Resort & Water park isn't open yet!!!!! I would LOVE to stay there!

My family and I went there last week. We have a 5 & 6 year old and they both loved the Dinosaur Museum. There is a mirror maze included with the entry, which was less than most places. $9.95 for adults and aroun $6 for the kids, I don't really remember. The Dino Museum has life size dinosaurs in it, not just a buch of fossils or bones. I really enjoyed going myself. Can't help with the haunted house, the kids aren't in to that.

Petroglyphs (1 Replies)
We will be driving from Cody to Thermopolis to see the Dinosaur Museum and the Legend Rock Petroglyphs. I understand that we need to get the key for the Legend Rock site at the Chamber of Commerce in Thermopolis, but we will be driving by the turnoff on our way from Cody! Can we see the petroglyphs without getting a key? Or do we really need to drive into Thermopolis, then retrace our route back out to the site, then back to Thermopolis?

Family of 5 from New Zealand will be traveling from Yellowstone by car on the 20th June and would like a suggested itinerary through to the Grand Canyon. We would like to see Dinosaur museum, Bryce Canyon Zion National Park through to Las Vegas we are short on time and only have until to the 26th. There is also a possibility that we could be going over to Texas and wanting to be back in LA around the 2nd July. I would also like to say this forum is a wonderful tool to plan a holiday.

Hi Kiwibird. Some questions first. What's your location in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton area. West Yellowstone? Gardiner? Jackson? Or in the park. Is Dinosaur NM essential to you? Would you like to visit Grand Canyon North Rim or South Rim? (makes quite a difference). Where in Tx do you want to be? It's a very long drive. Tet
