We took a trip with Black Hills Open Top Tours,to view Mt Rushmore at night. Our driver was "Otto" he was a very informative guide. Since we were only a party of four, Otto had time to give us a little more of the local twisty side roads which were unbelievable and impossible to ride on any larger vehicle. During... More

It might have been a better trip if we had a more enthusiastic guide. While our guide was knowledgeable, we didn't feel he gave any energy to the tour, he actually seemed quite bored with it all. We would not be able to recommend based on our experience.

We booked a private open top jeep for a tour of the Badlands and Wall Drug. The guide, Otto, was intelligent and knowledgeable as well as very accommodating and friendly. We loved the private tour because we were able to spend more time where we wanted to. Otto even took us off the beaten path on dirt roads where we... More

My family and I had the best opportunity to tour the Black Hills with RJ, our tour guide. he was knowledgeable, polite and enthusiastic about the area and his job. We were picked up at our hotel early(which is a bonus for me) and stayed on the road, touring, for almost 13 hours. RJ was patient as we took pictures,... More

My family of 5 adults and 2 grands had the pleasure of touring Custer National Park, Needles Canyon, and other Black Hills hot spots viewing Mt. Rushmore and Sylvan Lake and several other beautiful sites. Our driver was very knowledgeable as well as cautious about his driving on the sometimes perilous and narrow roads. The Jeep had been newly outfitted... More

Not even sure where to start. We rode in a converted jeep wrangler. There were 7 of us, including 2 in car seats. This was amazing...amazing. our driver (Dale) was super knowledgeable and a great personality. We were on this tour for 7 hrs that felt like 2. A lovely lunch was included with fresh veggies and variety of deli... More

I've taken tours all over the western world and this one is in the top 5-10% for one main reason. Our guide/driver Cindy. Her local knowledge was so good. It was all day with an excellent lunch. We saw so much but were never rushed. Mt. Rushmore is a must but so is Custer State Park and Crazy Horse and... More
