Pretty little city

Compact cute little city with all the necessities and great public art. Several really good restaurants, too. Don't miss Que Pasa.

Very interesting. Get selfies with all of the former US presidents in their bronze glory. Visit the Berlin Wall near the lake

Downtown Rapid City is very nice. I love that every corner has benches and shade and cool statutes. It was very nice walking around and exploring the area. There is also plenty of parking along the streets

We walked around a number of blocks taking photo's of the late Presidents of the United States which was interesting but shop fronts are not very appealing

Visited the city center on a bus tour. Nice center city with shops and Restaurants to visit. Statues of the presidents and local culture adorn the street corners and a lovely park with fountains and tables and chairs and benches to relax on! At the time we were there a band was playing on the pavilion, very nice place to... More

We had time before our flight home on our last day in Rapid City so we took a stroll through downtown. It is one of the cleanest downtown areas we have ever seen. Nice gift shops and art galleries to explore. Also there are statues of presidents on each street corner which were fun photo ops. Go into the historic... More

We visited downtown for the pumpkin festival, and just walked around. It was nice. We didn't take time to stop in stores, but it was fun to just enjoy the liveliness of the area. We did walk down the "art alley". CREEPY! Did NOT enjoy that one bit!!!! The funny thing is, usually when you see graffiti it amazes me... More

The downtown area is very pretty. I loved the statues that are placed on the street corners. The city is very clean and has lots to offer for people of all ages and interests. There's so much to see in the immediate area and surrounding areas. Not to be missed.

A novel and appropo idea for the gateway to Mount Rushmore to have lifesize Presidents on every corner in the downtown area. I'll bet touists would be interested in knowing where the local brothel is/was if they add one of the more recent presidents in front of it.
