What is wonderful place! I had low expectations, but was surprised by this incredible experience, journey really is the best word to describe it. It's not a big open place to explore at leisure, it has a beginning and end with a directed path along...More

This is walking distance from the Rushmore Hotel. There are many interactive exhibits for kids. to play with. Displays show the history of the area back to the dinosaurs. Small admission fee, but senior discounts are available.

The videos are worth the time to watch. Amazing what the Lakota tribes have endured and still are strong.A people to be admired. It is also a good stop for kids. There is a dinosaur museum with some hands on activities.

This is not a large museum and the exhibits are clearly marked but not overly "word-y". Two hours should be adequate if you move right along. But I must admit I spent ALOT of time looking at those items that had a past... More
