Sorry you felt that way. It’s not consistent with the majority of our guests.

I loved my trip to Cosmos Mystery area! They do a good job with signage on the way there from Rapid City, and I had my GPS, but even so I almost missed the turn off... I guess I wasn't expecting such a normal looking road :) All good though - just be on the lookout and when it says to turn left, just do it. haha... I thought the tour was great! Even though I'm a sceptic at heart, there were still some phenomenon that I can't explain and that made it worth the price of admission for me. As some other reviews mentioned, there were some people on the tour who experienced rapid onset of vertigo and/or nausea, so bear that in mind. They ended up waiting outside the cabin for portions of the tour, which seemed to help. Our guide gave us time to have everyone that wanted to, try out the various options. And even though you are in the cabin for part of the time, it's never enclosed - there's open doors and/or windows so for those especially worried about COVID, you're not ever in a totally enclosed space and at least 50% of people wore masks the entire time (which seemed to be true for the entire Black Hills area, not just Cosmos). I enjoyed my visit and would 100% recommend a stop if you're in the area.

This was our families favorite activity of the black hills! The staff could not have been nicer. We arrived just before closing and had a six year old in tears with disappointment. The owner stepped up and gave us a tour and was so patient and kind. Turned a disappointment into a highlight. Don’t miss this fun activity !!

I have been to one of these types of places before when in California, so I really wanted to take my friend here while in Rapid City. I had to drag her here. Turns out, she liked it the most out of all the places and things we did on vacation. She couldn't stop talking about it (7-hour drive home and she brought it up, laughing, and saying how much she enjoyed it over and over and over again!) Mysterious place but keeps you thinking about it and the fun you had for a long time afterwards.

OMGeeeeee! This place is completely wild to experience. If you have trouble with motion sickness or vertigo, don't waste your money because you won't be able to complete the tour. BUT...if you love to feel dizzy, unable to control your movements and even struggle to walk...YOU'VE GOT TO CHECK THIS OUT!
