It was an awesome trip. We had 12 people in our group. All ages from 4 to 44. We all had a great time. The guides were very good and the horses were also. Scenery was fantastic. Seen lots of wildlife. We highly recommend Andy's for anyone who is looking for a great experience!

Wow is this place great!! 1st thing I must say is how well the horses are cared for, which to me is the up most of importance! The horses are healthy and happy and so gentle ( except for James when Minnie is around lol!!) The staff here is the best I have ever encountered! From registration to the ride,... More

We met Andy and his helper Kady at Whispering Pines Campground. The horses were very well trained and cared for. We took a 4 hour ride through the forest, creeks and some pretty rough terrain that the horses handled amazingly. The scenery was breathtaking and we even ran into a herd of cattle and felt like we were part of... More

We would highly recommend Andy's! We called the phone number the day before and left a message, they called us right back and we made a reservation for the following day. We ended up with a private ride, our family of 3 plus 2 guides. The views were breathtaking and we saw lots of wildlife. This is no ordinary trail... More

Our 3rd trip with Andy's. We took a two hr AM ride and loved it as always. Andy led out but he had a brand new girl along and was showing her the ropes. The other members of our group were a brother and sister from Paris, France and a mother with two preteen daughters from Neb. Andy and his... More

We decide to go for a 1 hour ride due to our lack in horse riding. Everyone in our party felt the same. Ages 63, 39, 38, 11, 7, One of our crew was not so sure about getting on a horse, and actually getting on one... well that decided it for her. My wife was scared and asked to... More

Not quite sure what to rate this... Ride itself was amazing but the time management needs some work so giving it average. We made reservations for a 10:00 trail ride & were told to come 15 min early to fill out waivers. Since we had never been there before we planned extra time (good idea, the driveway can be easily... We were so glad that we did this. We had an age range from 3 to 66 on an 11 person ride and it was so awesome. We had three people go with us and they were amazing at helping out the newbies. It was gorgeous. Andy went with us and was very helpful and friendly. You should do this... More

Myself, my fiancé, and his 9 year old daughter scheduled a 4 hour ride with Andy on our second day in the black hills. On our first day we saw the badlands and deadwood.... But after all of that "history", we learned 10x more about South Dakota with Andy than in any of the other "historic" places turned tourist trap.... More

Went with family of six (four kids aged 11-18). Only I had any substantial horse riding experience. Guides were great, horses were perfect for kids. They have a nice custom ramp (rather than just a stool) that makes it easy for anyone to get on their horse. Ride itself is beautiful. In and out of trees, so would be nice... More
