My girlfriend and I decided to go on a trail ride while on vacation in Rapid City. We waited until the day before to book the ride and Andy did was able to fit us in on a 2 hour ride. The place was a little difficult to find, as the sign and yellow gate are slightly hidden. There were... More

We had a great time. Andy really goes out of his way to ensure his customers enjoy themselves. For instance, he customized the ride according to our riding ability, which was great since we are experienced riders. At his suggestion, he also took pictures of the 3 of us on our horses with our cameras. Andy is knowledgeable and entertaining.... More

We took a two hour ride with our kids (7 and 10), us, and our parents (60s and 70s). Everyone had a great time. Andy was funny, informative, and great with the kids. Great views of the landscape. Us grown ups got to run ahead a bit every once in a while which was pretty thrilling. The horses were beautiful... More

Andy is the greatest! We took the four hour trip with just myself & my two children. Andy was wonderful with the children, taking time to point out animals & plants along the way. He was very patient, gearing the ride specifically to us! We had lunch at the "Robber's Roost", which in itself was an incredible experience. I realize... More

It was an awesome trip. We had 12 people in our group. All ages from 4 to 44. We all had a great time. The guides were very good and the horses were also. Scenery was fantastic. Seen lots of wildlife. We highly recommend Andy's for anyone who is looking for a great experience!

Wow is this place great!! 1st thing I must say is how well the horses are cared for, which to me is the up most of importance! The horses are healthy and happy and so gentle ( except for James when Minnie is around lol!!) The staff here is the best I have ever encountered! From registration to the ride,... More

We met Andy and his helper Kady at Whispering Pines Campground. The horses were very well trained and cared for. We took a 4 hour ride through the forest, creeks and some pretty rough terrain that the horses handled amazingly. The scenery was breathtaking and we even ran into a herd of cattle and felt like we were part of... More

We would highly recommend Andy's! We called the phone number the day before and left a message, they called us right back and we made a reservation for the following day. We ended up with a private ride, our family of 3 plus 2 guides. The views were breathtaking and we saw lots of wildlife. This is no ordinary trail... More

Our 3rd trip with Andy's. We took a two hr AM ride and loved it as always. Andy led out but he had a brand new girl along and was showing her the ropes. The other members of our group were a brother and sister from Paris, France and a mother with two preteen daughters from Neb. Andy and his... More

We decide to go for a 1 hour ride due to our lack in horse riding. Everyone in our party felt the same. Ages 63, 39, 38, 11, 7, One of our crew was not so sure about getting on a horse, and actually getting on one... well that decided it for her. My wife was scared and asked to... More
