We were staying in Hill City and had done every touristy thing there was to do in the area, so on our last day we strolled through town. Jokingly we said, "let's go to Teddy Bear Town!". It was so much fun! Jackie is amazing with her tales about where some of the bears came from and the the touching... More

We stopped in here with our two daughters and son (8, 5, and 2, respectively) while on vacation. It's a small building on the main drag, across from the Super 8 motel. There museum is packed full of teddy bears, large and small, and you're free to walk around and look at them all. My girls, and even my son,... More

We stopped here our last day in town and loved it. It was amazing that the lady knew every bears and it's story by heart. It is a little cramped, but it's amazing that she fit 9,005 teddies all in one spot. The lady is very sweet and funny. I would like to visit again just to see which bears... More

She has been in the Guinness Book of World Records 6 times. She didnt have a teddy bear from India, so we shipped her one when we got back home. She has a nice collection and stories.

This is a free attraction and it is in the Guinness Book of World Records. I honestly am not interested in teddy bears, but the lady is super nice and is always trying to break her record. There are some bears in there from far away and I appreciate her passion.

Jackie, it was so nice meeting you and your large collections of teddy bears! Our daughter and her friend had a lovely time seeing your Teddy Bear Town. We promised to send you a bear from Holland so I am searching for the right bear. When I find it I will send it to you. Regards from Decia

This is a neat place to take the kids. This is the woman's entire collection of teddy bears. I think its neat that she shares them with the world. Its covered wall to floor with teddy bears and the space can be pretty small so if you're clausterphobic enter when there is very few people in there. There are teddy... More

Jackie's passion for each and every one of the 8000-some bears housed in this house/museum is apparent. Each has a story, and you can become part of it! It's free, unusual, and right on main street. Pop in for a quick look around, or getting talking and stay an hour or more. One person can change the world -- Jackie... More

Yes lots of bears! Jackie Miley has the largest collection of teddy bears and is the Guinness World Records. She hopes to break her own record and would like 10,000 teddy bears. She has a story for each one. Most of the bears are donated for various reasons. One was that the kids grew up and didn't want the stuff... More

The premise is that people send in their teddy bears from all over. My 11-yo daughter that it was interesting, but the rest of us could not wait to leave. It's a neat concept though - definitely unique!
