My visit to Rapid City included a visit to Prairie Berry Winery since I was familiar with their Red A** Rhubarb wine. My tasting experience included wines noted as dry or semi dry since I prefer dryer wines now. The Cabernet Sauvignons - both 3 Rednecks and the Ana Pesa 2013 version were fabulous. I also enjoyed the smooth quality... More

We always make it a our "must stop" after a long day of hiking in the Hills! Everyone on staff is so friendly and knowledgeable-always a lot of fun! And before you leave don't forget to stop next door at the Miner Brewing Co. for some great craft beer selections.

Squeezed in a visit here between our trips to Badlands and Mt. Rushmore and had a great time. Tastings are casual and complimentary. There are sweet wines for folks not serious about wine drinking and some excellent dry reds--we liked 3Rednecks and Pheasant Reserve--and whites, our favorites being Symphony and Needle's Eye. We also enjoyed an excellent lunch on the... More

The big Kickass sign intrigued us and prompted us to stop. Complimentary wine tasting paired with some scrumcious cheese made it a great stop. The wines were very good and there was a nice variety of reds and whites. Our server was both fun and informative which made us want to stay. We bought a few bottles and some cheese... More

The "RedAss" Rhubarb wine got us to stop and check it out! The name alone is intriguing, and being the wine novices we are decided to stop and check it out! Wine servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Suggested best way to taste wines, as in first, second, etc. It was a fun stop to make! We didn't try any of... More

The sommelier who served is was lively, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a great time and each of us discovered what we liked immensely and what we could live without. We stayed for... More

Stopped back at this Winery after a first visit two years ago. We received the same great tastings and enjoyed a light lunch pairing on the outside patio. Very nice friendly atmosphere and good selections. Do not miss this stop and also go to the Miner's Brewery next door for some good Micro Beer selections.

We stopped at this winery after a long day of hiking around Sylvan Lake and up to Harney Peak. The staff was very friendly and the wine is delicious! We had several samples and left with a dozen bottles of wine.
