Fun to watch
Sep 2020 • Couples
We always watch one or more of the skits on main street . If you want more gunfire watch the ones later in the day those seem to have more gunfights in the story than the first one. I recommend it.

Unique Stage Coach Ride and Street Shootout
Sep 2020
Started my day in Deadwood with a stagecoach ride and tour and shootout on Main Street. Deadwood was a thriving gold mining town in the late 1800’s. This attraction is part of Deadwood Alive which also includes historic recreation shootouts on the street. A very unique way to tour the city.

Best $6 I've ever spent...they should charge more!!
Sep 2020 • Friends
Honestly, I was not expecting it to be as entertaining as it was. We happened to be walking by as the group of actors began the show in the street. We were intrigued and followed as Jack McCall was dragged into the court house. For the next hour we laughed, hollered and became part of the show!
The actors were all amazing as was the writing. We loved the children who were the "jury of Minors" pun after pun with a sprinkle of current events/pop culture included. Audience members who participated as witnesses were great sports!
It was very funny and I highly suggest you go if you visit Deadwood or surrounding area.

Lots of Fun
Sep 2020
Although this is a serious sounding event, the cast was very funny. Cast members' interaction with the crowd was such fun, and kids enjoyed playing the jury.

Deadwood fun

Had a great time at the Saloon and then on to the Trial of Jack McCall. Trial was funny and all ages had a good time. The jury in our trial was a group of kids. They were so thrilled to be picked. Will do it again when we return!

A fun evening! The cast were very funny and you could tell they were having a great time. Good job with maintaining social distancing for those who are concerned about that.

From Street gunfights to the trial of Jack McCall- troupe was tough enough
Sep 2020
Good re-enacting of the shooting of Wild Bill as he faced away from the door leaving his back open to jack Mcall. street gunfights and re-enacting of the trial of said McCall (where he was acquitted of his dastardly deed )they acted like drunk cowboys and who knows perhaps they were - worth the 5 $ per head

Thank you for your wonderful review. I promise you, they were not actually drinking alcohol, they are good actors that work hard to entertain and they have fun doing it. We truly appreciate your visit to Deadwood!

A Must For Deadwood
I will admit I was a little reluctant to pay the $6 fee for this end of the night event after watching the gunfights on the streets for free and Hickok’s killing recreation in the #10 Saloon, but I’m glad I did. This was not only educational, it was a ball of laughs and fun to end the night in Deadwood. The characters you’ve watched in the streets all day cap off the night with history and hilarity reenactment of Jack McCall’s trial for killing Wild Bill. The entire towns Fame comes from one act in 1876 and it brought a fun end to a great day in Deadwood.
