If you are in the area, then I would just drive through the town to get a since of what an old western town might have looked like. But the historic buildings are either restaurants, casinos, or souvenir shops. The original Saloon 10 where Wild...More

Came to the downtown to see more botiques and Shoppes. Disappointed as there were far more casinos and tee shirt Shoppes than anything. Can visit this in an hour.

There are various shops and restaurants here and the town is definitely dog friendly. A cute little town - if you are into gambling, there are casinos. I lost $20 but I am not a gambler per se.

This is the most incredible little town!! Lots of shops, museums and of course you must see the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. It of course is a tourist town, but lots of fun to be had.

Take a stroll around old town and soak up history (eg see where Wild Bill was shot) also where Jack McCall was captured. A very interesting place to visit to peruse all.

Wild Bill Hickok was killed in this town - two bars/restaurants claim to be Saloon 10 - the crime scene. It is reinacted daily, as are a couple of other gun fights. Deadwood lives on cowboy atmosphere and gambling. A fair part of Main Street...More

This isn’t really our thing, but it was pretty darn cool! The architecture has the western theme going for sure, if it weren’t for all the people it would feel just like out of a western movie - guess that’s pretty appropriate given where it...More

Fun little town! We stayed for the street performance and the kids loved it! It’s short, but worth waiting if you have smaller kids. They all get deputized!
