Real old west taste

A bit hoakey, but a bit of the old west. We had a drink and went into the back area where there was going to be an reenactment of the shooting of Wild Bill Hickock. They actors... read more

The people at the Hotel were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to show us how to get to different places. Our air conditioner wasn't working when we checked in, we called the desk and they sent someone up immeditately. Went to eat when we came back our room was cool and comfortable.

Went to the 2nd annual 3 wheeler Rally. Stayed at First gold Hotel. Special room rates for this event. Met lots of Ppl from all over the Country. This Hotel is across the street from the event central. Trolley's leave ever 1/2 hour to take you downtown. Visit historic sights and shopping galore! Plenty to se and do in Deadwood,... More

A bit hoakey, but a bit of the old west. We had a drink and went into the back area where there was going to be an reenactment of the shooting of Wild Bill Hickock. They actors needed 4 volunteers from the audience and I volunteered to be the barkeep. That was a lot of fun. The place was clean... More

They have three buildings, I believe, that you can stay in. There is a parking structure to get near the building you stay in. We stayed in number three. We were on the fourth floor and had a balcony overlooking the roof across the way. But you could see the city beyond that. Maybe not if you sat down. It... More

The room was clean and comfortable. Being in an "old West town" the layout was not the most convenient - but appropriate. There are three different buildings that are within about 1/4 mile. The main casino and restaurants are in the furthest building from where our room was. The town is built into the hills so they are limited on... More

We stayed here for one night while visiting deadwood. The parking was ample, the location was pretty good and it was cheap. I would be willing to stay here again if we were passing through town. There is a casino in a neighboring building in the same complex and there is a buffet as well. I can't comment on these... More

This is all about Breakfast, and quite frankly, you cannot beat this breakfast anywhere. We were a group of 13 traveling for three days to come and visit the area. The Proprietor of our hotel told us about the Breakfast Buffet, and we went. Being oldies we all got a discount and then ventured down the stairs (there is a... More

My husband wanted to play roulette and we were directed there. He mentioned the staff was not knowledgeable about roulette. All players eventually left the roulette table and it remained empty during our two hour stay in the casino. They do have slots of all types although I did not witness any wins, big or small while I walked around... More

Clean and good value. Snack bar okay...not great. Restaurant good...prime rib nightly. Rooms clean and well appointed. Located on a hill so if walking...it's tough. Complimentary rides on golf cart. Located at the edge of town.

I am not a gambler. This opportunity was very good for our get away. Inexpensive and clean for the most part. The motel help was very plentiful. Always ready to help. Rooms were very quiet and clean. Most all the visitors were focused on there next big win so we had little competition fot the extra curricular activities like dock... More
