Great Christmas vacation!!!!

Such a great way to spend our Christmas vacation, the people running the ski lifts were so patient and wonderful. It was so fun!

Black Hills best kept secret is that it is a great winter destination on the scale of Jackson Hole. Great skiing in Lead S.D. about 5 miles from Deadwood. Over 100 miles of snow mobile trails. Great historical area where Wild Bill Hickcock was shot. Casinos in Deadwood are mostly in historical buildings. Mt. Rushmore is open year around and... More

Great time at Terry Peak for a New Years Ski Weekend. Our young grandchildren took ski lessons and loved there experience skiing. We were impressed with the ski area and very reasonable prices of lessons, ski rentals and lift tickets. Great Value compared to Colorado pricing. We enjoyed the lodge at the base, spending time watching the skiers from the... More

Im a 43 yr old long time snowboarder. There were no benches at the offload area to help ease stapping in. Many large ski areas offer this as a courtesy, as not all boarders are 17 anymore. Also, NO HALFPIPE! A halfpipe is a staple for a ski /snowboard area. Please install one. Bottom line: Terry needs to invest more... More

They did not have all trails open on the day we went December 29th. We did not find much fresh powder at all, and it was icy, but still fun to get out and board. We LOVED how fast the chair lifts were for the blue and black diamond hills, that was an excellent feature, but that is a very... More

might have been 4 years since i last skied here. High-speed quad lifts for blue & black slopes kept lines moving. being "single" skier also helped - they put you in to fill load. usual conditions: nice snow which got icy later in day not many slopes open yet but that'll improve as season goes on. as mentioned, the road... We're from Colorado but can't stand skiing there anymore--too expensive, too much traffic, too many Californians. So we get season passes at Snowy Range in Wyoming and just love the place. Happened to be up in Deadwood, so gave this place a try. It was much more than I expected, and everything was fantastic. Great snow and runs, very affordable,... More

People around here love Terry Peak but is because there is nothing else available. Is a small ski resort with way too many people. very few lifts and few ski runs.

The view is spectacular but the drive up was a little hairy. The road could be wider and not so rough. It is a good experience.

We live in the area and travel to this scare you several times per year. Have teenage boys that snowboard who love the terrain park and the diversity of the mountain. As an expert skier I get a little bored just because the runs are relatively short. For this part of the country this is a fantastic family area. Little... More
