Went here on a Practice Retirement Day! Staff and other customers were very friendly to us Novice pub visitors! Great Cracker crust on the pizza. All Jacked Up was recommended by others and they were right on the money!

Stopped here for pizza and a pint after a long day of driving and loved it. Great local beer and cider selection and delicious pizza. Cool atmosphere, I’m sure it’s real lively during the school year.

I visited Wooden Legs brew pub with a relative who had been before. It was a fun evening. There happened to be a quiz night on, so it was quite noisy but still enjoyable - it added to the vibe. The beer was great - excellent selection and the four we tried were all very good - and the pizza was also very tasty.

The title says it all. They have a good variety of beer and the people working there are great. However they need to put some sound dampening in the building as customers start having shouting matches to hear each other over all the background sounds then it just builds...........bring ear plugs.

Stopped for dinner and a beer. Excellent choice of tap beers, maybe 10 from the brewery and some others. I tried the Schwarz Bier and the Winter Seasonal. Deluxe pizza was plenty for 1 person. Recommended stop in Brookings.

A relaxing place to stop and enjoy a few cold beers along with a nice thin crust pizza. Lots of local people and friendly company.

My wife and I dropped in on the Sunday afternoon of Labor Day weekend, looking for a late lunch. There were about a half dozen other people in the place, all of whom were seated at the bar. All the tables were empty...not surprising for a small college town on Labor Day weekend. We seated ourselves and reviewed the menu and beer list. We decided what we wanted and sat at the table waiting on a server for a few awkward minutes until I noticed a small sign that said "Please order at the bar." With that, I sauntered up to the bar and placed our order. We both ordered sandwiches...I had the Reuben and my wife has a grilled ham and cheese. Both were good. For drinks my wife had a very tasty shandy mixed using a house brew and I had a English style house brewed bitter, which was served from a wooden firken. The bitter was incredible...I love beer on wood! I could have had several more, but alas our schedule didn't allow. House brews were $3.50 per pint (Sunday special). There's plenty of free parking in front of the pub, the restrooms are clean and spacious, and the bar staff are friendly. The only down side was the fairly boring, industrial-style interior. But would we go back? You betcha! The beer alone is worth the visit.
