I had no idea this memorial existed and was surprised by its location until reading about its history. What an inspiration those young men were, despite all the hardships and roadblocks they encountered along the way. For the record, another excellent exhibit devoted to the...More

This memorial is amazing. It makes you think of all of the things that those men went thru. You can actually sit on one of the benches and reflect back to another time. Worth visiting.

Off the highway and rather neglected. The memorial and the adjacent area documenting the airbase are in need of sprucing up. An ideal Boy Scout project. A pleasant place to picnic quietly as no one else will be there.

Great display with photos and script about this brave corps of Airmen who trained here. Sure was also a POW camp for a time.

I think it's open 24/7 -- it's an outdoor display located near the airport. The information was very interesting.
