This was a great hike! Start at the ranger station, hike around the pond, and then up to the 70 ft waterfall! Just great!

This is worth going to just to see how well things have held up with these buildings and surrounding grounds.

We did not get to the station display till 20 mins. to closing. Ranger was leaving when we walked up to station. There is information history signs to read about the blockhouse and brick home. They were both locked so just walked around and looked at outside. Grounds well kept. Read that the buildings r open and tours on weekends. Would like to see inside and hear more info. We might have heard more from ranger on a weekday if we would have got there earlier.
