Great area to bring the kids for a quick stop in. Easy walking with some up hill, but not bad. Wish we could see inside but understand. Nice parking area and hiking trails.

These trading posts are a very important part of American history and this one is very well preserved. Worth a stop! Some very pretty falls nearby and worth the walk.

Went waterfall hunting while we were there....watch footing, slippery if you're not watching your steps. Oconee Station State Historic Site was great to walk around a look at and enjoyed the time there. Beautiful old buildings depecting life in by-gone times. Enjoyable.
