Firefly Distillery is South Carolina's first and largest distillery. Firefly Distillery is home to Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, the original sweet tea vodka, and many more southern specialties. Current product lines include vodkas, rums, whiskeys, liqueurs, and moonshines. Guests are welcome Tue-Sat 11am-5pm for tastings. Must be 21 to enter tasting room. Feel free to bring your own lunch and have a picnic on our grounds, perhaps after enjoying a wine tasting from Deep Water Vineyard which is located on the same property. Every Saturday we have our Weekend Wine-down with live music and tasty local food truck. Come taste the South and enjoy a casual laid back atmosphere!

Stopped by here on a road trip and it was so kitschy-cool and accommodating to my family with small children. Wanda was SUPER nice and gave my kids popcorn while my husband and I sipped moonshine samples. The grounds are beautiful and have lots of...More

We decided to head over and check out the firefly plantation with some friends on a quick getaway to Charleston. It's a quick trip from Charleston and worth it. We first checked out the winery which was ok but then went over to the liquor...More

Pay attention to your GPS because you might drive right past the entrance. The driveway was a bit rough on the car, but manageable if you take it slowly. Parking is a bit different (just park between two trees). The wine and moonshine tasting were...More

Nice setting, great hospitality, and good spirits! We haven't visited this island on other trips to Charleston, and the staff in both tasting rooms were fun. Call ahead on holidays as hrs may change. Tastings are $11 for winery and distillery combo. Arrive early (11-noon)...More

The distillery tasting room is right next door to the winery tasting room. I would highly suggest if doing both to do the wine and then the moonshine/vodka/whiskey/etc. The firefly distillery was definitely very crowded as we had to wait a bit to get a...More

Rustic setting, even restrooms are in an outhouse, with working plumbing. We had 7 people, family age 21-76. The 2 older men in our group didn't do tastings. Not much for them to do while we tasted, except watch us have fun! As soon as...More

Fun time at the Firefly. We arrive 15 minutes before they closed but they were more than happy to let us try a tasting. We left with several holiday gifts.

Had fun tasting their flavored Vodkas, they are famous for sweet tea vodka which is delicious. We bought their Lemonade Vodka and Apple Pie Moonshine. They are both wonderful. Fun place! A little hard to see when arriving - it has a wrought iron gate...More

We paired a visit to the tea plantation with a visit here, thinking that after we saw the tea harvested we'd see the sweet tea vodka being made. But no, this distillery is just a tasting room. For $6 you can taste 6 varieties of...More

We do not typically do tours of the bottling area due to the fact that there are so many hazards, but if you are here during the week you are more than welcome to peek your head in and watch the process. We also have...More

The Firefly distillery was a great place to visit. They sell moonshine made at their distillery. Had fun with the young adults in the group.

If you go to their website, it lists on a map where their products are sold. I tried to post the link but I am unable to. Just google firefly vodka and click the 'find the fly' tab at the top of their page. :)
