The firefly distillery and deep water vineyard is an amazing place to go for a nice day trip! It's far enough away to be secluded yet close enough to make it there and back on a tank of gas!! The wines are great, the scenery is amazing and the spirits are abundant!! Always live music and amazing food trucks!!! Worth... More

Everytime we are on Seabrook Island we make the trip to Firefly Distillery on Wadmalaw Island. It is easy to miss it and pass right by as the sign is not very noticeable from the road. You drive through the gate on a dirt road and first pass a small body of water with a sign that is a picture... More

Did not know what to expect upon this stop however was happy we made the strip. Being from the North I have had Firefly sweet tea vodka before. I was actually searching for a moonshine distillery on our drive down the SC coast and Firefly came up with the google search. I had to make the trip. Upon arrival it... More

You must make your way out--way out to the Firefly Distillery. After enjoying their libations at Fleet, in Charleston, the night before....we had planned to take our friend out here---(a little hair of the dog). Thank goodness a food truck was on sight prior to our tastings. (Great creole guy). The two tastings combine for the wine and the moonshine... More

On vacation in Charleston and decided on a whim to check it out after finding a brochure at the hotel. What a great find!! There was a guy playing reggae music and he set the vibe. We did the wine tasting and then the "other" tasting. The winery part was quiet and typical to other winery tastings I've been took.... More

We had a great time here tasting some delicious booze with the fabulous Wanda! Highly recommend the Apple Pie Moonshine and the Bourbon Ball Whiskey, however, ended up taking home some lemonade vodka because it's such a hit and super versatile.

Loved all the different vodkas to taste. Jack enjoyed the moonshine. Had a singer who played keyboards and assorted other instruments. Food truck that looks like an ambulance. Large oak trees to sit under and catch a breeze. Lovely way to spend an hour or two. Try the southern lemonade vodka - it's great and I'm not a vodka drinker.... More

This is such a cute place about 35-40 minutes outside of Charleston. Well worth the drive, scenic. The Angel Oak tree is close by it as well. Sips of shine, rum, whiskey are up by the tasting bar and wine tasting is in the other building. Animals on the property, chickens and a cow who loved being petted. Plus you get... More
