This is a lovely little vineyard that shares space with the Firefly distillery. Its small and quaint little place and the attached gift shop has some of THE funniest saying on coasters and towels. They had out crackers to taste before purchase and prices in the shop were reasonable. Of course the real question is, how's the wine? The answer... More

What a gem! Stumbled across this after a great morning at the Tea Plantation and the Angel Oak. I highly recommend doing a wine tasting here. The wines are delicious and the folks here are wonderful and generous. If you visit (as you should!), there's not much to eat around the area so I'd recommend bringing food and having a... More

I wanted to take advantage of a local vineyard, glad I did! During my tasting, I was shown a video and learned about the history of the vineyard, a pleasant experience. I've been to numerous wineries in the past although found the 'educational' aspect a plus. I tasted 5 different wines, walked away purchasing 3 of them. They were also... More

I'll admit that, being new to the south, Muscadine wines are not our thing. That said, maybe we're starting to grow on us. That or these were the best we've had. They had five varieties we left with bottles of four of the varieties. a five dollar tasting gets you a taste of each and a glass great stop! Staff... More

Stumbled upon this vineyard/winery doing a web search, and decided to check the place out. The drive out is beautiful; tree-lined highway most of the way. The location is great, surrounded by the vineyard, forest and wetlands. There were lots of people milling about, and a reggae singer (very good). We discovered, purely by accident, that the Firefly Distillery is... More

We visited the vineyard and Firefly Distillery together, since they're on the same property. The wines were delicious (all sweet, though, so maybe skip it if you prefer a drier wine) and the tasting includes all 5 varieties and a wine glass for just $5, so a bargain.

This is the former Irvin House Vineyards on Wadmalaw Island. We were at an even the night before sampling the wines and came out to see the vineyards and enjoy the entertainment. The wine samplings are $5 to sample 5 wines and you get the complimentary glass to take home. All are made from Scuppernong and Muscadine grapes grown in... More

Every Sat is sipping Saturdays and they offer up tastings, local music and food via a local food trucks with delicious choices. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and fun! About 4 times a year they will have festivals that offer: several bands playing through out the day, various food vendors, local vendors offering their wares for you to look... More
