Our family went on a Saturday, hours are 11am to 6pm, we got there a few minutes pass 2pm. I was in the lazy river with one of my kids and this teen employee who was working walked up to me and started complaining how she has had to work for 4 days in a row, and I quote, "all of us are hoping that it rains so that we can just close." I just stared at her, because I couldn't believe she walked up to a guest and said that. This was our first family trip, first trip to Myrtle and this water-park. I shrugged it off as some teenager just being whiny. However --- around 3:36pm dark clouds rolled in and there was thunder. By 4pm rain had stopped, storm and clouds had moved out of the area. Everyone was waiting to get the go-ahead that we could head back into the water, at 4:32pm they announced "Due to inclement weather and approaching storm, we will be closed for the rest of the day." The skies were completely clear and blue, there was no approaching storm. It rained later that evening around 8pm. So we got 1.5 hours of water park time, and should have had another 1.5 hours, but they were eager to close. Very frustrating and disappointing. I completely understand if there truly was a weather concern, so for everyone's safety it is necessary to close. But this was clearly not the case here, and to hear an employee prior to this say, they hope it rains so they can close, doesn't seem like a far fetch that they did not want to reopen. This is the one thing my kids were so pumped about getting to do on vacation, and it was just completely ruined. They didn't offer any partial refund or discount. I would not recommend to anyone and would tell them to stay away.

we came here so the kids could have fun and get a break from anti socializing. we had a great time. they have plenty of pools for toddlers and small children. they have slides all over the place and on top of that a life guard lurking even when u think there is not. the staff is friendly and perceptive. my family and I really had a great time. would definitely come back

Park was nice, very clean. Friendly staff. Lockers were convenient. I LOVE the mats on the floor in the restroom. In a water park, you never know what is wet in the floor, that mat was reassuring. Lazy river kept me totally entertained after a couple slides.
