I stayed in a 2 bedroom, smaller cabin, #2, from Oct 31-Nov 5. As per my prior visits, the staff is excellent--friendly and informative. The lake is excellent for fishing and there were people fishing when I visited (I don't); however, I wouldn't dare swim...More

Beautiful location. We had our picnic at the round Hall building which was beautiful. The ceilings, floors and walls were all hard wood floors. The kitchen was more than needed and tables and chairs were heavy duty and in great condition. The lake is beautiful!...More

Not much to do in regards to hiking or biking. Very small beach. The park is really large. They do have kayaks to rent.

We visited the state park while staying at a resort not far away. There are plenty of trails and picnic areas. The park also has cabins available for booking.

We stayed in the cabins at the park. To my surprise, they were really nice and clean. The cabins provided basic necessities and only one TV. The kids loved fishing, walking and seeing animals. Due to possible alligators, we had taken the children to the...More

Was very nice state park. Had beautiful cabins that were right on Lake Marion and had a nice camping area that had Electric and Water hookups. Looked like a nice family place to enjou.
