Very cool ruins, we all enjoyed taking a walk back in time. It was a quick stop, probably 20 minutes altogether but interesting. Definitely echo those who recommended bug spray - even with the Deep Woods Off the gnats were everywhere. Worth a stop.

I love these old ruins. You still get a feel for the history, the character, and the charm. Maybe the building is no longer whole, but it's not yet gone either. It still has stories to share with those willing to stop by for a few minutes.

My friends and I saw this site while on our way to Penn Center. We held hands and prayed here. Very moving. The oyster shells in the ruins almost certainly were touched by enslaved people.

We stopped to view the ruins after reading about the church. The shell of the church remains and the cemetery although some of the head stones have been vandalized. Also the mausoleum had also been vandalized. People don't respect sacred ground anymore. It's such a shame. Oh FYI
