MYCO is admittedly on the small side but it is worth the money for a trip with the family. There is a surprisingly large and diverse display of taxidermy animals from across the world and if you are truly interested in biology there is an impressive collection of specimens - insects, spiders, birds, small mammals, skeletons - many of which... We visited here in late October with our grandchildren. School was in session so we had the whole place to ourselves. What a wonderful visit we had! We will visit again because there was so lots to see and explore!

This museum is kind of tucked away and remote but it is a great little place to walk trails and let the kids learn a few things about animals. We always enjoy the staff talks on different animals and creatures inside the museum.

I came up from Columbia to see my son who had just arrived from Nevada. The weather did not cooperate it was a down pour. Looked up things to do found the museum ,and directions Admission was reasonable discount for a senior citizen. Spent a relaxing afternoon looking at the exhibits very good attention to detail.

High quality experience with self walking tour, curator section for questions and a planetarium. This tour can be done under 2 hours and as little as 1 hour. Totally impressed with how they made the animal settings so real. It is well worth the travel time to see.

Museum of York County is a great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday with the family. The exhibits are wonderful and the planetarium is amazing. Low cost for a lot of fun.

We spent about two hours here...it's a great little spot to beat the heat or escape inside on a rainy day. We took five toddlers between the age of one and four and everyone enjoyed it. There are tons of animal exhibits to enjoy as well as a great toddler area for free imaginative play with blocks and dress up... More

We went to the museum to meet other children that were going to the same school as my child (5 yrs old). She was entertained nicely for 2 hours+ until the staff made us leave for closing time. I will warn that the wolf scene area may be too intense for some young children as it depicts a deer being... More
