We didn't get to go inside because they were closed. You can buy the stone ground cornmeal and grits across the road in an old country store. We also visited the Broom Shop next year where Susan Simpson has been constructing brooms for 40 years....More

We haven't been able to catch the mill open yet but we enjoy going out and walking around in Boykin. There is a historical marker and they just reopened the old store for meals.

Boykin's Millpond must be visited to really be appreciated. The Broom Shop, General Store, and Steakhouse are really in a league all their own.
