We absolutely LOVED this tour!! Wonderful people and the most informative tea tour!! We had visited the tea plantation in Charleston last month and although it was larger, it was nothing compared to this tea tour! We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the owners, the tour, the views and the tea!!! We will definitely come back soon!! Thankfully we have family who lives nearby so we can visit often! If would also recommend if you live close, it’s a great place to bring guests! Doesn’t take much time and it’s so worth the trip!! Thank you!!

Visited last summer while vacationing at Table Rock & intend to stop by again this year. Great people running a great business. Hope the area becomes a hot spot for tea farming.

My wife and I stopped by Table Rock Tea Company after spending a few days at Table Rock State Park. We thoroughly enjoyed touring the farm. Seeing the green house and tea processing factory was a unique experience. The story behind Lazarus’s field was truly incredible. Jennifer is a great tour guide with her knowledge and enthusiasm of the tea plant and it’s growing process . We also enjoyed meeting Steve, and learning the history behind the company. We both had a great time and appreciate Steve and Jennifer taking time out of their day to offer this free tour. Jennifer made sure we both got a glass of their great sweet tea. We made sure to purchase some before we left. Thanks again Jennifer and Steve for being excellent host.

We took an hour long tour of the tea farm at Table Rock Tea Company. Jennifer is a great guide, and her enthusiasm for tea and their growing business shines through. You will learn a great deal about tea, see it growing (outdoors and in their greenhouse), and be given a sample of their brewed ice tea at the end of the tour. They also have their tea for sale (bags, not loose) and some tea of local companies whose blends they package. What a great day to spend some time in lovely Pickens County.

We did a tour with our church group of young retirees. About 36 of us. Jennifer drove those with mobility issues in the golf cart. We saw tea plants...thousands of them, we visited inside the greenhouse where they germinate their hand gathered seeds with a 90% germination rate. It is a fascinating greenhouse especially designed for the young tea plants and a warming oven for germination. The tea is handpicked, hand planted, hand everything! They are teaching students from the Future Farmers of America how to plant the sprouts and the whole process of seed to table. They have plans for increasing their yield and in the future will have a tea room. Check out the web site for time to tour and shop. Tea plants that are pest and bug resistant! (Yes really!) The plants are evergreen and great for foundation plants around your house (who knew!) The plants can grow in sun or shade; have a tap root giving them sustainability during droughts. You won't find them in garden centers yet...that will come. Go and take the kids even if you don't drink tea! Oh and they are certified for Hip Camp, reservations online.
