Fun course, be sure to select the correct tees

One of our family members owns a condo here and generously shares it. We've been coming at least once a year for about 8 years. We're not golfers, BUT the atmosphere is so relaxing. We visit the "19th hole" often, to enjoy a beverage and watch the golfers complete their round at the 18th hole and watch the wildlife (yes,... More

Always well kept grounds, pools and club house. Nice place to visit or to live there. There is a reason it is in the top 100 clubs in America.

We own a condo here, and every time we come down it gets harder to go home. The course is truly awesome, as is it's "sister" course Caledonia. I'm not remotely a "scratch" golfer, but stepping on to either course is a real treat. You can easily fantasize about what it would be like to be "on the tour" with... More

True Blue is among the best golf courses in the US, and shouldn't be missed when visiting the Grand Strand!

This was my first experience with a Mike Stranz course and I wasn't disappointed. The staff was friendly and the pro shop well stocked. The course was in good shape, the greens were a little slow due to being aerated a couple of weeks ago, but seemed to have recovered nicely. The course is very interesting visually and wide off... Greens were punched two weeks prior to my round and the simply hadn't recovered. Very slow putting particularly after playing the fast greens at Caledonia the day before. Overall course seemed in decline from when I played it two years ago.

One of the best courses in an area with 100 courses. You pay for what you get with designer courses, beautiful but very hard.

Third time I've played here and a great course. Tees, fairways and greens are perfect and a very fair course. Only real difficult green is #18. Wide fairways but lots of waste bunkers. Very good practice area and first class service. Lunch after the round was good and the club overlooks the 18th green. One of the best courses on... More

Stayed here while attending Mel Sole's golf school on Pawley's Plantation. The condo was really pretty nice. We had a two bedroom unit. Everything worked well. It was clean. The carpet was like new. You could tell it has some age, but it was just fine. There are quite a few rules to follow, but they are just common sense... More
