Fun to play. You frequently have to choose how much of dog leg to try and cut off. Rough is mostly sandy waste area that you drive through. Great greens that are fast but a true roll.

Golf course challenging but pace of play very slow and no marshals! Greens are true and nicely contoured. Food service is average in a dated clubhouse. Clubs not cleaned after the round.

To start I have an index of 14 so an average player but long ball golfer. Our group played this course in late September. We played 3 days after a week of rain. I live in southeast NC so I understand how much rain they have gotten in the week before our arrival. However, this course does not drain quickly.... More

One of the best conditioned golf course in the area and there's a lot to choose from, unlike it's sister course Caledonia this is a shot makers course where each hole is a challenge. With several tees to choose from its worth a trip.

I am not a golfer but I was at my sister's at this site. The relaxation was evident from the first day. I loved to sit and look at the clouds and listen to the birds. It was so relaxing that I hated to leave.

Our group played this course on Thursday 4/28 and were treated beyond compare. From the time our bags were removed (thank you Susan) to the final hole the experience for only second to their sister course. Looking forward to our return in the coming years.

12 guys on our annual golf trip played True Blue on Wednesday 4/27/16. It was great! Golf course is in excellent shape. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Bart Romano's Pro Shop Staff. Jacob presented our team trophy after we were done. You guys were good sports! Everyone thought True Blue was better than... More

Like its sister course, Caledonia, True Blue is a good course. It's a little more open than Caledonia and perhaps not quite in as good of shape as Caledonia, which is really quite lush. But pace of play was terrible. There was a 5-some that slowed play significantly, and we ended up waiting on every hole. An over 5 hour... More

Played this course at good price as an afternoon replay of one of the courses managed by Founders. I liked the layout and the wide fairways, A lot of touble around the greens. All bunkers are considered waste bunkers (including greenside). Definately should be included as part of any golf trip to south Myrtle.

This is a great track..tests all parts of your game. We rode the Golfboards. Fun as all get out. We liked the experience. Carts were path only, we were not...nice. Great club house too.
