We were expecting to see a church built in the 1700s, and hoped to go inside. Current church (1913) is on site of old church, but kept locked.

We visited the All Saints Church this past Saturday. This old cemetery has so much history. One famous person buried there is James Dickey. Just walking around the grounds provides to a wonderful history of the Waccamaw Point area of Georgetown County, SC.

All Saints has been in Pawleys for a long time. The church is beautiful. There is a cemetery across the street where you can see many old tombstones and imagine what life was like for those people. Many children did not live long, making me appreciate life in this day and age.

All Saints Church is beautiful during the day, and beautiful yet spooky at night. Make sure you read the story of Alice Flagg before visiting.

We stayed at the Litchfield Beach and Golf resort and had heard that the famous Alice Flagg was buried here. It was very close by so we went at dusk and we were the only ones there. It is a pretty small cemetery with an beautiful iron gate around it. Alice's grave is easy to find . It is marked... More

Step back in time with a visit to the All Saints Church. Early morning or early evening are the best times. Don't forget your bug spray.

It was a rainy day and my husband was on here looking for something to do, outside of water. He found this church and the legend of sad Alice. We decided to go check out her grave (though, for curiosity and not superstition). We did find her grave and the tons of gifts left on top - sad. Yes, it... More

We set out in search of Alice's grave from local lore and found not only the supposed grave site but a beautiful old cemetery as well. The grounds are well manicured and there are graves dating back hundreds of years. The spanish moss in the trees and overall setting is beautiful.

Beautiful old church building and grounds. Very neat historical review of the SC low country families way back in the day and fine example of historical architecture.
