We went on the 4-hour kayak trip with a hike on Sandy Island in the middle. My wife, 12 year-old son, and I had a great time. The guides were knowledgeable and nice, and very helpful. We saw 2 alligators and 1 snake, plus lots of other wildlife. Thanks for a great time.

Glad you enjoyed your Sandy Island Kayak EcoTour. This is a favorite of our guides. The alligators and snakes are starting to show up more, now that the summer is winding down. More

When I booked this trip, I was excited. When we arrived for our 2 hour salt marsh trip, our guide (a retired woman in her mid-60s, I sadly can't remember her name, but she does all of the 6:30am tours) was ready and waiting. Not only was she knowledgeable about kayaking but she had a wealth of knowledge to share... More

We opted for the 6:30 2 hour excursion, and so glad we did. As we pulled up Mandy was waiting and ready to go. We started with some photos because the sun was just rising, & the view was spectacular. Our guide Mandy was patient, and very informative. It was a great start to our day.

If you love the outdoors and learning about wildlife, this kayaking trip is perfect. We took the 4 hour trip with our kids and love it. The guide was super informative, funny and an all around great guy. We saw so many different types of animals. I would do this trip again and again.

All four of us in our party had never kayaked before. It was way easier than I expected. Mandy and Amanda were great guides on our 2-hour swamp tour and very knowledgeable. The water was calm except for a few speedboats going by and they even gave us time to swim in the water. I would highly recommend this adventure!

We recently gathered with about 8-10 fraternity brothers from 40 years ago, and took the Kayak tour of the Murrells Inlet Saltwater Marsh. The Guides were patient, knowledgeable and personable. The equipment was in great shape, and the pre-trip instructions were great. The scenery was superb and the weather was great! Guide Paul, delivered the history and stories, and Guide... More

Last month my wife and I took a trip to Myrtle Beach and wanted to try something different that we would both enjoy. We both had never been kayaking so I looked into possibly doing this for our trip. I came across Black River Outdoors Center tours in my search and they seemed to be the one that had the... More
