Nice challenge

Golfed this course with a buddy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very scenic and challenging. One of my favourites in the area. A couple of very challenging par 3s over the marsh.

I have reserved room blocks at Pawleys Plantation for 13 years for an event I host for work. This year after I booked the rooms and called to reserve one of the rooms I learned that Pawleys had been purchased by Litchfield Plantation. I have been so disappointed in their customer service. First, I was informed that our guests would... More

Played 4/14/16. Greens are in horrible shape. Fungus has caused lots of bad spots and lumps. Virtually the front nine is unputtable. I doubt this can be rectified within the next month. Buyer beware because they tell you nothing. Not a premium course at this time.

The Pawley's Plantation course in April of 2016 is a complete disaster and ripoff. The greens are beyond atrocious. They appear to be infected with some disease. They are unplayable. And the fairways are thin and very very tired. They should close the course until the above issues are completely fixed. They provide no warning in advance and appear not... More

Golf course was superb however the reception we received from pro shop was not very friendly guy beckoned us to the desk by wagging his index finger to tell us we could approach the desk very condescending !!!!!

After taking lessons at Mel Sole golf school a round of golf on this challenging course is a great way to practice lessons learned. Hole 13 was my test that the lessons learned were well worth! I stayed in a condo. It was well maintained but pillows were awful I travel a lot and stay in hotels often. These were... More

There is very little room for errant shots on this course as OOB is close to the edge of the fairway and the two par 3s played off the bridge are a bit 'mickey mouse'. I don't think I will be going back here next time I visit the area.

we stayed in a condo at the plantation. it was nice but needed a new couch. there is no formal dining room and if you want a good dinner, you need to go out. the breakfast at the complex is good, but nothing spectacular. the service is great. the golf is good, but not great. the curses is overloaded with... Front nine more challenging than the back we thought. Shots in the fairway are required as the rough was pretty thick. Everything in good condition. Crowded though. Just short of a five hour round for a threesome so consider that. Holes along the marsh are pretty but one is pretty short especially for women. They charge you for practice balls... More

We've stayed at Pawleys Plantation once before and like the difference in accommodations. One time we stayed in a duplex 3-bedroom which was very well furnished and nice. This time we were in one of the many 2-bedroom condos. It was very nice too even though a little strange. The first bedroom could be cut off from the kitchen, den,... More
