Found the gardens very easily. Plenty of parking. Pleasant walks around the gardens, river, Cyprus trees and the lake. Meditation gardens as well. Nice place to spend a few hours. Beautiful trees and flowers in season. Enjoy.

I seldom drive through South Carolina without stopping to smell the roses. The garden has places to sit and meditate and it's a great place to get out and stretch your legs. You can take a short walk or spend hours strolling through the gardens...More

Edisto Gardens is a really beautiful area of town. Although it had taken a beaten from previous storms and flooding waters in the rose garden section of it, it still holds beauty. It doesn't seem as vibrant as it once was, but again, that may...More

When the roses are in bloom this garden is breathtaking. The azaleas are very pretty in the spring. There is a boardwalk through the swamp along the black water river. At Christmas there is a small drive through display.

Yes, dogs are allowed as long as you clean up after them. You would need to keep them leashed because it is an open park near Hwy. 301 which is very busy.

Some azaleas are about ready to bloom. Unfortunately there was a frost two days ago and the forecast has three days of freezing weather later this week. That may push back some of the blooms. Some of the rose varieties bloom... More
