This was the second time we had visited Alabama Theatre. First time to view a Christmas show. Good singers; fast paced show. Tends to jump from secular songs to popular/vintage Christmas songs quickly. Also has some patriotic music which is a little off setting for a Christmas show. The comedian (R Mokel) is very funny! This theatre tends to draw... More

We have been going to the Myrtle Beach area since the early 1980s and own a condo there. This year we spent Thanksgiving there and saw the Christmas shows at both the Carolina Opry and the Alabama Theatre. It pains me to say this, but there is no comparison in the two shows. The Alabama Theatre is the clear winner.... More

After many trips to Myrtle beach I finally made it to the Christmas show at the Alabama Theatre. The show was quite enjoyable and very well done. Would recommend it highly.

We went to the matinee the day after thanksgiving and the show was great. It was much longer show than I expected, almost three hours. All of the performers were good including the comedian. We can't wait to go back and see the other shows.

We expected the Christmas Show to be for the entire family. Other than the arrival of Santa, there was little to keep the attention of 4, 10 and 12 year olds. No elaborate costumes or characters, except one song with Rudolph and the Reindeers and the overhead arrival of Santa. Plenty of singing, dancing, a comedian and a few instrumentals;... More

This is our 2nd year going to the beach to see a Christmas show. This year we went to the Alabama Theatre. It was a nice show. The comedian was funny. I think we enjoyed him a little more than the show. The show has good singers and dancers. We were very disappointed when they didn't sing Christmas in Dixie.... More

We saw the Gatlin Brothers there last winter - looking forward to seeing Wynonna Judd this March. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. It's a nice theatre where you can see good entertainment in an area (Myrtle Beach) that doesn't always draw big names. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

A great show, that is the Christmas show.--------------------------Top notch singing, dancing and comedy. The only negative thing, THE SHOW WAS TOO SHORT. We wish it went on, and on, and on, and on. We had a brother visit us from New York and he said, ' If the show is lazy can I leave in the middle without getting killed.... More

My husband and I attended the Christmas Show at the theatre. Very enjoyable evening. Comedian Ricky Mosley was worth the price of admission. As a side note, we had purchased tickets for Tuesday evening but my husband landed in the hospital. In spite if their "no refunds, no exchanges" policy, the sales clerk stated, "we're not heartless," and gave us... More

I have been attending the show for probably ten years. I see the One Show and the Christmas Show yearly. I have had complaints about Ricky Mokul (Grant Turner) for the past several years but the show was good enough to overcome his act. Not this year. First of all Greg Rowles was not there. Without him the show dragged... More
