- Brian SSumter, South Carolina77 contributionsAsk the fun of Broadway without the Crowds.First time here. After going to Broadway At the Beach the day before we decided to go here. Barefoot Landing was a very relaxing atmosphere for the kids and the adults. The walk around the water and the many different things to do around including multiple playground, Carousel, trampolines, Many indoor play Areas for the kids. Great shops and restaurants. House of Blues is a 4 minute walk away and there's lots to do in this area. Thanks for visiting Barefoot Landing. - Susan M4 contributionsUpgraded and worth it!What an upgrade! Been a few years since we stopped at Barefoot Landing. It is no longer just a strip mall of little tourist shops but is now a destination! So relaxing with the benches and open spaces and the restaurants were lovely. 1.5 hr wait at one when half the restaurant was empty was disappointing but we found one that seated our party of 4 in 15 mins. We will be back! Even the teens liked it!Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 10, 2023
- Lisa PWoodridge, Illinois662 contributionsCool place to hang out and shop and/or eatCool place to hang out and shop and/or eat. Located in North MB - this is a great place to hang out. They have many special shops and some great places to eat. Parking in season is hard. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time because they are very crowded.Visited June 2023Traveled with friendsWritten June 26, 2023
- Katie R1 contributionBungie trampoline was amazingI don't ever leave reviews of places because the experience is typically different depending on season, employees, Etc; but I had to talk about the bungee trampoline. My niece was so excited about doing it, and both she and my older son went at night and had a great time on it. 2 Days Later, my youngest son, who is nonverbal and autistic, was able to do it and I wanted to cry. The employees we're so nice and offered to let us try him on it before we paid in case it didn't work out. Then we let him bounce for a bit and he had so much fun. He was giggling and babbling the entire time. He didn't do it for the full time allowed, but that experience was well worth any amount of money. When Myrtle Beach says they are autistic friendly, they are not kidding.Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 28, 2023
- LynnO717Conneaut, Ohio53 contributionsBest night of the weekAnyone who’s been to MYB has probably been to Barefoot. Shopping, great restaurants, etc. this review isn’t about the tourist stuff. We were looking for music to watch and my daughter said there was an 80/90s band at Barefoot. Stage was located right outside of Lulus and next to the playground. Free chairs which honestly there were a lot! A local band played and they were amazing!! The atmosphere was everything. Within a short walk is an outside Tiki Bar if you want drinks. Lots of people had coolers. A great way to spend the evening!!Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten August 13, 2023
- Katie TCopley, Ohio120 contributionsMust do with young kidsVisiting this area was one of the highlights of our trip. For kids they have a carousel, small little train ride and a playground. Make sure to try and go on a night they have fireworks. It was a nice little display over the water. We are at Lulus and enjoyed the arcade.Visited July 2023Traveled with familyWritten August 16, 2023
- Dede KPittsburgh, Pennsylvania234 contributionsOne of the best!We have been coming to Barefoot Landing for many years and have watched it evolve! We have seen bridges get wiped out, places get torn down, but all in all, everything made Barefoot what it is today! A fun family place for walking, shopping, play and more! My favorite place is The Christmas Mouse and Black Market Minerals is a close second. I really enjoy how they have incorporated large games and playground equipment for some free family time. Lots to see around every corner! Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. Non-motorized wheelchair rental available. Restrooms available. Playground and arcade games.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 28, 2023
- rickbrennanrnTrinity, Florida602 contributionsShopping outingA cool little shopping and entertainment complex that kills a few hours. We were there mid wee, during the day and it was raining so didn't get to see any of the outdoor entertainment I've seen others mention. Does have a good selection of restaurants to choose from. Variety of different shops to browse. Also a distillery that offers tastings.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 10, 2024

Much nicer than the national chain shops at Broadway. Unfortunately prices have gone up a lot recently. Lots of unique shops such as Black Market Minerals [a unique shop you have to check out includes some very reasonable prices]. Very hot during the afternoon sun so be warned. Shop around, some places offer similar items at better prices. Sadly the Hologram store vanished years ago. Some of the fudge shops have great creamy fudge, but rather expensive.

We have owned our own company for 21 years. We work hard for our money and know the value of it. So we tend to look for good deals and bargains where we can. That said, we did love Ultimate California Pizza and found a nice shoe store, Sand and Sun, on the north side of the lake (Alabama Theatre side) where we bought 4 pairs of shoes. Most of the other stores were nice, but seemingly overpriced.

We visited several of the outdoor mall's while visiting Myrtle Beach. This one was by far the best! They had a lot of things to do while we were there. The area surrounds a body of water that is filled with fish and turtles. Tons to do and the kids had a blast! It was so much fun!

The food, the porch eating, the service and the beer was cold. I would recommend this eating place to anyone looking anything from burgers to delicious seafood. Excellent choice for afternoon dinning while shopping or enjoying the view of the lake.

The man running the show was probably in his 50s and white hair. He had a mask on below his chin..pointless. and was extremely rude to me and my daughters even rolling his eyes and talking very rude and condescending to me. I am very disappointed. You shouldn't treat anyone that way especially a client. I will be sure to spread the word.

We had a conference in January. We had our choice of shopping areas. Last time we went to Tangiers and we researched the Boardwalk area but heard it got a little sketchy recently. We felt very safe. We ate at Blueberry's and loved it. I wish we had more time. We found the sweatshirts to be $20 cheaper for the exact same sweatshirt if you stick to the shops farther away from the entrance areas. We loved one bar that had swings for adults all around the bar. It was closed during the day but it looked fun. This seemed to be the nicest shopping area around.

I loved this area!! There was free and easy parking. Tons of shopping stores, some I knew many I didn’t. There were places to sit and relax, play ground for the kids, great restaurants to eat at and several places to get a beverage or two. This area feels less manmade more organic - not so many kid attractions. There were plenty of shaded locations, stores were nicely spaced, and restaurants were Air conditioned or open air with fans. I would definitely send folks here who want a relaxed shopping and dinning experience.

The two ladies in your store are extremely rude. My 4 year old stepped out of the door, not knowing there is a step down. She fell out of the door and started crying. Both women glanced at us and went back to doing what they were doing. The young lady is apparently the manager and she did not even speak or ask about my child. The older lady didn’t bother speaking either. You both are very rude and need to work on your customer service skills. I will never step foot in your store again and I will make sure, everyone is fully aware of how rude you two ladies are and how you don’t care. It would have taken you less than a minute to ask me if my child was okay. But no, you didn’t. I will make sure I post this review in every place I can so other people are aware of your sorry and pathetic customer service. You’re lucky my daughter was okay to walk. I would have made sure to sue you if she was seriously injured.

We love to visit the rock shop. They have a great selection of stones, jewelry, geodes, and unique gifts. We always find something we love. The ice cream is delicious and fairly inexpensive compared to other ice cream shops.

As close to the lake as possible. They do manage to get them up pretty high though so you will get a good view from just about anywhere. (We saw them from across the main highway at our oceanfront resort as we were walking across the outdoor 6th floor walkway to our room one evening.)

I consider this more shopping and dining area. There are beach areas within driving distance.

barefoot landing has a beach nearby--if you go just across 17 --there are signs directing you to the beach --it is less than 1/2 mile to the ocean. Unlike many beaches we visited on the east coast, there is plenty of access to the beach and lots of free public parking. Many of the public access to the beaches have rest rooms and outdoor showers.

Can you tell me what the dress code is for this course for 2 adults and two young teens? We are visiting in June, how far ahead do we need to book tee times?

We stayed at Barefoot Resort Vacations which is about 800ft from the resort. Barefoot Resort is a beautiful place to stay. It's just like living in your own home. My family and I are planning another vacation there next year. There also many different eating places and shops around in the same area.

Are there any plans to save Barefoot Landing in myrtle beach? It is run down. I actually saw a store boarded up. (Bad sign). Almost as many stores closed than open. Maybe the powers that be could try to lure some retailers not well known down here.

We found the place sad and outdated. Obviously the new shopping center has taken businesses away. Hope it can come back but it needs lots of work.
