    Shopping outing
A cool little shopping and entertainment complex that kills a few hours. We were there mid wee, during the day and it was raining so didn't get to see any of the outdoor entertainment I've seen others mention. Does have a good selection of restaurants to choose from. Variety of different shops to browse. Also a distillery that offers tastings.

    Something new to see.
Looking for something different on our vacation. Had some good reviews so we decided to checked it out. Easy to locate. Stopped by the welcome center thinking we would get a map and we got a sales pitch. Just go up the road and hear our pitch and get discounted tickets to other attractions. Disappointed that the first encounter was a sales pitch. Able to walk away after a few minutes to start our journey to discover what was here. Arrived at 10 so shops had just opened and light traffic through out. Many different shops, foods along the walking path. Take your time and walk and investigate the many vendors here. Depending on where you stop to look you can spend several hours here.

    Great Layout Around The Lake
We liked Barefoot's layout around the lake with the 3 villages, Low Country, Harborside and Dockside. There were some nice restaurants that took advantage of the water views in Big Chill Island House, Landshark Grill and Lulu's. The 2 bridges connecting the shores was scenic and they had an attractive Crooked Hammock Brewery as well as a House of Blues. We must have gone into 10 different stores, from clothing to sweets, snacks, sports shops and even the Christmas Mouse. What a great place to visit when you want to take a day off from the beach.

    Barefoot Landing is really nice
Barefoot landing was really nice with a great variety of restaurants , alligator adventure and even a winery. We enjoyed seeing it . Visited Alligator Adventure, ate at Lulus, tasted the muscadine wine at the winery and enjoyed seeing the intracoastal waterway and all the fancy boats. You do need a car to drive around to all those things; they aren't that close together! It was nicer than Broadway at the Beach I thought; just something different. North Myrtle Beach seems to be the ritzier part of town --- we drove past some lovely beach houses on the way back just to take a look!

    Great location to stay at!
this review is in regards to the condo that we stayed in at Barefoot Landing , one of the golf villas. Given the week that we chose to go, tropical storm Debby hit on our first day there and didn't let up until Friday afternoon. We got to enjoy 15 minutes at the beach and maybe a total of two hours for the week at the pool. My husband and I decided to go to the pool, during the short breaks of rain and wind gusts. The walk to the pool from the golf villa we stayed in, took a few minutes. It was a nice size pool, but not very many people were there. If it had been sunny weather, the pool might have been too crowded. The condo was one of the first floor, which was great. The first couple days there, the elevator was out of service. Our condo was comfortable, had three bedrooms and everything that one could ask for. Given that we stayed in the condo the majority of the week, we picked an excellent condo to rent. The only con I would say is that the pool area didn't have a hot tub and there wasn't an exercise facility or gym to go to. My son, who is 20 bought a gym pass for the week, that was about 15 minutes away.

What an upgrade! Been a few years since we stopped at Barefoot Landing. It is no longer just a strip mall of little tourist shops but is now a destination! So relaxing with the benches and open spaces and the restaurants were lovely. 1.5 hr wait at one when half the restaurant was empty was disappointing but we found one that seated our party of 4 in 15 mins. We will be back! Even the teens liked it!

We loved this cute collection of stores and restaurants along the Intercoastal Waterway in N. Myrtle. We visited mid-September, and crowds were still plentiful. Unfortunately, restaurant staffing was for the “off season,” which meant we couldn’t get into a restaurant there without an 1.5 hour wait on a Wednesday night two weeks AFTER Labor Day! However, almost of the stores were all open, and the variety is delightful. Try the tupelo honey at the honey store, and grab a praline at the southern sweets candy store.

We had a conference in January. We had our choice of shopping areas. Last time we went to Tangiers and we researched the Boardwalk area but heard it got a little sketchy recently. We felt very safe. We ate at Blueberry's and loved it. I wish we had more time. We found the sweatshirts to be $20 cheaper for the exact same sweatshirt if you stick to the shops farther away from the entrance areas. We loved one bar that had swings for adults all around the bar. It was closed during the day but it looked fun. This seemed to be the nicest shopping area around.

Anyone who’s been to MYB has probably been to Barefoot. Shopping, great restaurants, etc. this review isn’t about the tourist stuff. We were looking for music to watch and my daughter said there was an 80/90s band at Barefoot. Stage was located right outside of Lulus and next to the playground. Free chairs which honestly there were a lot! A local band played and they were amazing!! The atmosphere was everything. Within a short walk is an outside Tiki Bar if you want drinks. Lots of people had coolers. A great way to spend the evening!!

I loved this area!! There was free and easy parking. Tons of shopping stores, some I knew many I didn’t. There were places to sit and relax, play ground for the kids, great restaurants to eat at and several places to get a beverage or two. This area feels less manmade more organic - not so many kid attractions. There were plenty of shaded locations, stores were nicely spaced, and restaurants were Air conditioned or open air with fans. I would definitely send folks here who want a relaxed shopping and dinning experience.

We love to visit the rock shop. They have a great selection of stones, jewelry, geodes, and unique gifts. We always find something we love. The ice cream is delicious and fairly inexpensive compared to other ice cream shops.

The two ladies in your store are extremely rude. My 4 year old stepped out of the door, not knowing there is a step down. She fell out of the door and started crying. Both women glanced at us and went back to doing what they were doing. The young lady is apparently the manager and she did not even speak or ask about my child. The older lady didn’t bother speaking either. You both are very rude and need to work on your customer service skills. I will never step foot in your store again and I will make sure, everyone is fully aware of how rude you two ladies are and how you don’t care. It would have taken you less than a minute to ask me if my child was okay. But no, you didn’t. I will make sure I post this review in every place I can so other people are aware of your sorry and pathetic customer service. You’re lucky my daughter was okay to walk. I would have made sure to sue you if she was seriously injured.

A+ all the time! We visit Flying Fish every time we are in MB. Despite Covid they have done an excellent job keeping the restaurant safe and clean. Servers wear masks and gloves, tables are spaced a good distance apart, and menus are visible on phone. Our server Wayne T was awesome. I felt completely safe eating here, our first venture out in months. Thank you Flying Fish.

We visited several of the outdoor mall's while visiting Myrtle Beach. This one was by far the best! They had a lot of things to do while we were there. The area surrounds a body of water that is filled with fish and turtles. Tons to do and the kids had a blast! It was so much fun!

Cool place to hang out and shop and/or eat. Located in North MB - this is a great place to hang out. They have many special shops and some great places to eat. Parking in season is hard. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time because they are very crowded.
