While my wife and I were waiting for our show to start at the Alabama Theater, we decided to walk around Barefoot Landing. We had a great little walk around several shops there. It was great.

A lot of great little shops. Sometimes you see a repeat of things but still a good time, if you like shopping and walking.

We like visiting all the little shops at this location. However, broadway at the beach has the same shops and a bigger location. We liked visiting barefoot landing in the evening, at 6 they show the animals(tigers, monkey, etc.)in which my kids loved.

Barefoot landing offers a varity of restaurants and stores. It is spread out with boardwalks over the water. If you are going to walk around I recommend comfortable shoes.

Many of the shops are on water or near water. Floating bridges to walk across. Upscale shopping, sweet shops, small amusement rides for children. Dining abounds but with wait times. Visit at least once on your trip to North Myrtle Beach. Would not make a...More

I am not sure, our summer is really hot and humid. I have not seen any dogs there. It may be up to the individual shop owner.
