At one time, Barefoot Landing was the place to go for shopping and dining. Now the shops are mostly tee shirt and souvenir shops and quite a number of them have almost identical inventory. There are a few upscale boutiques (Chico's and White House Black Market to name a couple), candy shops and restaurants. There are dozens of vacancies where... More

After going at Broadway On The Beach, Barefoot Landing just felt average with nothing in particular that was exciting.

Barefoot Landing provides a nice walk as it is entirely open air between shops. We actually saw an alligator asleep with its head on the back of a turtle. That turned out to be the highlight of our afternoon unfortunately. The shopping is either high-end or the typical crass selection that is now unfortunately synonymous with Myrtle Beach. There is... This area is somewhat off the beaten path, many restaurants and high end shopping outlets. This area is especially nice for family entertainment and seaside options. Take a tour on its waterway and enjoy a light lunch games. Best during warmer months for family members to take advantage of what this area has to offer.

We don't feel that Barefoot Landing is that exciting to us. There are a couple good restaurants and shops but that's about all. Everything is extremely spread out so ensure you bring some walking shoes.

So many cute shops!! I was able to get a lot of unique souvenirs on my honeymoon. The only downfall was the constant badgering from people to help us get discount tickets. It is exhausting. We had a very positive experience at the sunglass hut with Jay and the Beef Jerky store! Definitely worth it to walk around and see... More

Most stores didn't open on time, many beyond an hour late. A few good shops (Christmas Mouse & General Store) and a restaurant with decent live music, but don't go out of your way. A place to visit if you have extra time and happen to be in the area. The boardwalk was nice.

We realized Myrtle Beach would not be a happening place in November and Barefoot Landing confirmed this. 90% of the stores were closed on a Saturday at 5:00 AND they even had the added attraction of their "Big Tree Lighting and Fireworks Display. Fortunately Wild Wings was open for dinner before we headed over to the Alabama Theatre for their... More
