From what I read Barefoot Landing was the rage until Broadway at the Beach was built. I like them both! If you want a quiet place to leisurely walk, duck into shops, buy ice cream or dinner & see fireworks then go to Barefoot landing. If you want excitement, larger crowds, a more Coney Island atmosphere with rides, duck into shops,... More

We enjoyed walking across the lakes here and the shopping. They had a very nice tiger exhibit. Restaurants are good although expensive. Lots of shops with interesting items to get a kick out of even if you don't buy.

If you are in the area and want to check it out, give it a look! Lots of shopping/dining and a nice atmosphere overall while walking around at night. Watch out for the spider infestations along the walking bridges!

We have been to this place many times over the years and they appear to be going downhill with the stores. One of the candy stores looked like it was going out of business because it was so empty and the other stores are overpriced. I like how it appears to almost be floating on water, but it's not what... More

Barefoot Landing is a great place to visit with the whole family; grand-maw, mother, dad, all the children and cousins

It's always nice to spend an evening shopping, dining and walking around Barefoot Landing. There is something for everyone. Weekends are definitely more busy than weekdays and nights are busier than days (it's so much nicer when it cools off). Very stroller friendly, my mother has a walker and didn't have trouble getting around either. Personally, I prefer the atmosphere... More

As a child, I can remember when Barefoot Landing was being constructed. It was the premier place to visit. Coming back years later, I can say that it's starting to show its age and the some of the shops are not as exciting as what you'd find down at Broadway. However, there are many, many good restaurants to eat at... More

We went to umbertos for dinner which was nice but a little pricey. The kids had also had pizza from the California pizza place which was good.

Barefoot Landing is especially nice in the evening to stroll, shop, and grab a delicious dinner in any one of several restaurants. There are great rides for the kids young and old. The charming old fashioned carousel is a great photo op! There are strolling clowns and magicians. Definitely fun for the whole family!

We go here each time we go to Myrtle Beach because it's open until 11pm every night and gives us something to do in the evenings. A lot of the shops are aimed solely at tourists- candy, t-shirts, etc... don't let seeing Chicos and Ron Jon from the street fool you- other than those two stores and Sunglass Hut and... More
