The theater has moved and isn't yet in their new space. They are in the Myrtle Beach Mall near Tangers but in a temporary space. We saw "Spinning Jenny" which was a new production and a fun show. The theater is small and you can see from all over. The actors are professional and did a great job. Their plays... More

Went to see Spinning Jenny and thoroughly enjoyed. It's a small venue but nicely put together. I went alone as my husband does not like theater and had a great time. Never feeling uncomfortable that I was by myself. The show itself has great actors and kept you entertained. I will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful live acting performance venue. They had been at 79th street but have renovated new space at the Myrtle Beach Mall north of their old theater. We try to catch every show that they have and the acting is excellent. Some actors are actor's equity and others are CCU students and local people. They are a small theater and... More

We have seen 2 shows this season, Jekyll and Hyde and Doubt and were equally impressed with both performances. The theater is smal and intimate, seating roughing 100 people. The talent is top notch and perform with very few props. What's particularly interesting to me is, with the absence of props and the proximity of seating to the stage, you... More

I have been a snow bird in Myrtle Beach for the past 5 years and see one or two plays here each year. The talent is tremendous and there really isn't a bad seat in the theatre. Most of the actors and actresses are theater students form CCU and they are as good as any professional company.

Thank you so much for coming to Atlantic Stage! We are always glad to host our "Snowbird" visitors. I am happy to know that you equate our work with "any professional company" because we are, in fact, just that. Although we are on the CCU campus, our actors, actresses, designers, and directors are professionals in the field. We do use... More

We attended a show "A Christmas Carol" for the first time and had a wonderful time. The actors/actresses of all ages were fantastic. Will definitely visit this theatre again when visiting Myrtle Beach in the future. Great job everyone!

Staged in a cozy 144 seat venue, this regional company puts on a series of plays that are well staged and directed with very good local actors. We saw a delightful version of A Christmas Carol. Even the youngest actors did a great job. Seats are $25, seniors get in for $22.50. Easy parking in large free lot.

This regional theatre is an excellent entertainment venue. Many professional bound students from CCU along with equity actors and local talent, create a top notch live theatre experience. Look up their schedule and catch a show. You'll be happy you did.

In the spirit of trying something different in Myrtle Beach, we decided to see "The Nerd" at Atlantic Stage. We were so glad that we did! The theater is small, we had excellent seats (well they were all really good seats, to be sure), and the production was top notch. The actors were good, and the performer who played the... More
